Learners: one-on-one

The learners will be selected based on their grade level and past band experience. Basically, they will evaluate the lesson content. They will speak to the compatability of the lesson with their previous gained knowledge.

Learners: field test

The learners in the field test will be using the lesson after it is completed. They are evaluating general characteristics of the lesson in terms of its "learnability" and "applicability" in terms of their current knowledge-base and level of instructional comfortability.

The field test will occur after the design of the instruction is complete. This is the final step of formative evaluation prior to implementation of instruction.

The evaluation eg, assessment will take place in the actual setting where the lesson will be used.
