LAUNCH SCREEN

Upon opening the software a shortcut flash page will appear. On that page are quick links for commonly used features, access to online video training help, a link to our

live support, and messages updated regularly.

The TASK BAR will launch windows that allow you to add a game, edit video, and create video output.

The MENU BAR controls settings and is used when printing pictures, generating reports, or loading software updates.

The GAMES / CUTUPS / TITLES windows organize these items so they can be accessed easily. Games added to the system are listed by date in the games window. They can be sorted using subfolders. Cutups are video clips that have been matched together with a common trait.

Titles are frames of text or video stills that can be added anywhere in the video to label cutups. Title and still can also be sorted using subfolders.

Subfolders: All windows allow the creation of subfolders. Right-click on the main folder to create subfolders. Subfolders are limited to 3 levels of depth.

GAMES TILESCUTUPS

The WINDOW PANES can be moved and stretched to see names that might be too long to see under the default setting. The Font size can also be adjusted as well using the dropdown menu.

STEPS FOR USING THE SOFTWARE

Create FoldersPreset the video folders for capturing video. If capturing multiple angles, allow a separate folder for each view. Do not save any other files to the folder.

Setting Preloads and TreesAnd optional process before breaking down a game is to load terminology before you break it down using the Preload Lists options.

Capture VideoOpen the capture software and load the video to the preset folders.

Add and ODK GameAdd a new game to the system and select the ODK feature. Label the video into Offense, Defense, or Kicking game. If using multiple angles, line up the video angles with the video window when labeling the video.

BreakdownOpen the breakdown screen and enter the data into the selected fields.

Upload OnlineSent video and breakdown online using DSV Sync and Presentation Anywhere for internet access.

Create CutupsCreate cutups from the breakdown from the Quick Cutup or Tendency Cutup Screen features.

Output Video / View VideoUse the Output Window or the Presentation Window to review or create presentations.

Generate ReportsQuery data from needed reports and view/print them.

Create TitleThis window allows you to create a title that can be

output to a video format.

Build TapeThis window allows you to drag cutups and titles in a specified order for video output to various media.

HighlightsThis window allows

you to create a player or team highlight video.

Pack-N-Go ScoutingThis window allows you to

create a CD with reports and video cutups for viewing

outside the software.

Print PlaycardsThis window allows you

to print and draw formation play cards.

Add a GameThis window adds a new

game to the system

Video WindowThis icon is used to reopen a video screen that might

have been closed.

Video MarkupThis window is used to

mark the In and Out points to render one file

into individual files.

CutupThis window allows you to create cutups that can be output to a video format.

Report ManagerThis window allows you to load report layouts previously saved

in other portions of the software.

CaptureThis button links you to the

Capture Program

Database Change This button allows you to

change databases without leaving and re-entering the

software.

THE TASKBAR

Print PicturesThis feature allow one to

drag and drop picture files from the Titles Menu to print

to paper.

Sync OrderThis buttons opens a window where games are dragged and dropped into

a certain order to upload.

SettingsThis selection includes all of the options to configure the software. From text overlays to setting field zones, all of the initial configuration is done in this window.

ReportsThis selection is used when accessing reports. Three grouping of reports can be generated from here. Interactive or video launched reports, Printed Reports, and the older Report Groups Engine. Any report with the Film Slide next to it represents and Video Launching Report.Print PicturesThis selection opens up the area where one can drag stills and titles into a printed format. Four options are included with some having the ability to add notes.

HelpThis selection will link the user to online help resources, automatic updates, and software registration information.

WindowAllows one to toggle between windows that are opened and currently in use.

Breakdown Setup This selection includes all of the personalized options to make a database unique. Preloads, Formation setup, and all “Trees” are set in this window.

Games Folder Menu

Add a Game will open the Add a Game window from the interface.

Add Game Folder can organize your folder by opponents with two levels of subfolders.

Clicking Import Game will allow you navigate to a previously exported text or .export game file and add that data to the database.

When Right-Clicking a game you can quickly access the ODK, Breakdown, and Practice Screens.

The Match Video to Breakdown feature allows you to match up existing data before or after the video is entered into the system.

Export Game allows you to send out the game data to be imported onto another database or to a .export file for manual importing and exporting.

Selecting Copy Game will allow you to Paste that game into another Games folder.

The Paste Game feature can to used after copying a game from the games level. Only two copies of a game can reside within the folders.

The Setup Folder Pictures/Change Folder Picture allows the adding of pictures to go along with the folders. See the Game Folder Picture Setup page for detailed instructions.

Delete Game Folder will erase the folder as well as the games in it.

The Delete Game option will erase that game record.The Rename Game option will allow one to rename that game record.

Checkout Game Data with Video allows you to checkout the video with data to the local database. Once on the local database the video location will also be aligned.

Create Game Cutup allows for a game order cutup with data to be created

Import Online Breakdown will allow you to navigate to a copy of an online PWA breakdown game downloaded from a .export format.

The Rename Game Folder option will allow one to rename the selected folder.

Change Video Location allows for one to alter the placement of the video and re-attach it to the data files.

Rename Folder gives the ability to rename the currently selected folder.

If you click Create Subfolder you can organize your cutups in folders. This can be organized at two levels of subfolders.

Hide Folder / Un-Hide Folder allows for the folders of cutups to be hidden from the Presentation Window.

The Show Cutup files option can show you the location of where you video is coming from.

Checkout Cutup/Video Only allows you to make copies of video files for a particular cutup to a selected Drive.

The Rename Cutups option will allow one to rename the cutup. While Delete Cutup will delete the record. To delete multiple cutups use the Ctrl-Click or Ctrl-A method to select multiple cutups.

By right-clicking on the Title Folder, you can create subfolders to store stills and titles.

By right-clicking on a title or still you can choose to Delete that file.

Checkout Cutup w/ Data: will copy down only the video from the cutup and send the cutup data to the local database. You can also use Ctrl and Ctrl-A to select multiples.

Delete Folder gives the ability to delete the currently selected folder. All cutups within the folder must be deleted before this is allowed.

Moving Cutups can be done by selecting a cutup or multiple cutups using the Ctrl-Click or Ctrl-A method. Then drag and drop the cutups into the new folder.

Choose the database to log into from the Connect To:

The Offensive, Defensive, Practice, and Special Teams databases are shared by all users are located on the database server.

The Database On This Machine is the database that must be used when the machine is pulled off the network.

The Refresh button, located near the games list or in the Presentation Window, will

display any changes to the database from other machines on the network.

Add the game and ODK in any of the databases.

As soon as the ODK is complete, export the ODK data file to a designated folder on your machine or send to another Network database. See (Import/Export) page for more information.

‘Switch’ the current database and import the game data file into the next database or check to see that the game was sent to the next database. See (Import/Export) page for more information.

Once the ODK has been dropped into each network database you are now ready to begin breaking down the game.

• Right-click on the game and choose Export Game data To Export File.

• Navigate to a drive, then choose a folder.• Name the File and click Save.Ex: HERITAGE GRAPEVINE ODK

• Go to a workstation and import the ODK data in order to begin breaking down the game.• Right-click on a games folder and click Import Game.

• Navigate to the shared drive and open the data folder where the ODK data is stored. Highlight the ODK data file and click Open.
