2018, including a "VR/AR Business Intelligence" Dpt. This team's mission is to produce weekly

vertical newsfeeds covering major use cases, but also VR/AR "business" special editions in a

magazine format. After the 2 VR/AR special editions in the automotive industry published for the Paris

Motor Show, and in Real Estate and AEC, the third one will focus on Brands & Retail.

The opportunity to publish a 128-page book highlighting your know-how and professions: Brands &

Retail and to share best practices through real-life cases or research work in advance of the market. To

take part and contribute, simply send us an article in English and two captioned HD photos. The articles

selected by our committee will be published in a magazine entitled "VR/AR for Brands & Retail" end of

June 2019.

List of elements to send before Monday 20, May 2019:

• A 2 pages article in English. Your contribution must me informative for the reader and not too

emphasized on commercial aspects. Your article will present a use case or a VR/AR approach in

one of these sectors : architecture, construction or real estate.

Headline 10 words 60 digits (spaces included)

Introduction 70 words 450 digits (spaces included)

Article 1200 words 7360 digits (spaces included)

(Approx. >> for information, it may be 10 to 15% more or less)

• 2 HD pictures (ideally 300 dpi) including a caption and used to illustrate your article – One of the

pictures in portrait format (to allow a full page in a A4 portrait format), photo credits to be

mentioned. Additional logos in the pictures’ layers are not authorized.

• 1 picture of the author or co-authors and a 3 lines mini-biography (max.) for each contributor.

• 5 lines article summary.

• Full details of the person in charge of coordinating the article’s production in your

company : Company Name / Full name / Job Title / email / Direct Phone number/ Full

postal address to receive a copy of the special edition.

• The text is considered to be validated once sent to Laval Virtual and no major

changes in the texts will be possible after the deadline.

• NB: Taking part to this call for contributors

does not guarantee the publication of the

article and submitted photos, this selection

is made by an independent editorial board.

By submitting content, it is mandatory that

the author has obtained the prior written

consent of the companies, brands or

persons who will be quoted in the article.

The author authorizes Laval Virtual to

publish all the elements transmitted in a

magazine that will be marketed by Laval

Virtual and this without any financial

compensation. Laval Virtual will mention the name of the author, his/her company and will publish

the author's mini-biography in the edition. At the end of the publication, the author will receive a

printed copy of the magazine in preview and by postal service. The same company can offer

several articles..

About Laval Virtual

aval Virtual's mission is to gather,

inform and valorize the

community of VR/AR &

immersive technique users in its BtoB

uses through meeting platforms,

exchanges and information services.

During its 21 years of existence, Laval

Virtual has established itself as the

essential facilitator for VR/AR

organizations. Throughout the year, it

gathers and animates a community of

more than 5,000 professionals, for

which it organizes exhibitions in Europe

and Asia, conference programs and

provides various information services (VR/AR Business Intelligence, XR Workshops, creativity sessions,

publications, working group reports…). The 2020 international Laval virtual exhibition will be held in Laval, France

from 22 to 26 April. As in previous editions, the exhibition area will offer a space of 9,000 sqm, allowing more than

320 exhibitors to be accommodated. The conference will host more than 150 high-level speakers (leaders, VR/AR

experts, visionaries, researchers...) on three parallel thematic cycles over the three days. For the third year in a

row, the Art&VR gallery will take over the emblematic sites of Laval to highlight and question the artistic forms of

virtual reality.
