Legislative Mandate

SB 2042, AB2210, SB1209

Teachers who received their preliminary credential after August 30, 2004 must complete their Professional Clear Credential requirements within an approved Induction Program (BTSA).

School Districts meeting certification requirements are authorized by the California commission on Teacher Credentialing and the California State Board of Education as the Lead Educational Agency in order to provide close alignment between credential requirements and district priorities and initiatives. LAUSD is an approved LEA.

•Attend Orientation and ECO Information Session

• Submit complete application

•Meet appropriate deadlines – October 28, 2011

•Individuals who are unable to meet the ECO

program benchmarks/timeline will revert to the full

induction – two year program
