These include: Well Head TV (Guidewire based), Riser Monitoring TV, BOP Stack Mount TV, Anchor Bolster Monitoring TV and Turret Chain Monitoring TV systems.

Each system can be supported by a complete range of surface CCTV equipment to suit zoned and non-zoned applications and allow complete monitoring of all areas of the rig.

Our systems are designed to provide clear and detailed high quality video images of the subsea environment and are the result of over three decades’ experience in harsh environment underwater video camera manufacture.

Well Head TV Systems (Guidewire Based)Kongsberg Maritime’s latest Well Head TV Systems for Semi Submersible Rigs and Drill Ships utilise the latest advances in solid-state, fi bre optic and digital control technologies to provide systems with increased fl exibility and reliability.

Our Well Head TV Systems comprise of:

Robust sheave, frame and telescope

Compact hazardous area Zone 1 hydraulic winch

Riser Monitoring TV SystemKongsberg Maritime’s riser running tool has been designed to run down the inside of the riser to assist in BOP landings and inspections.

The Riser Monitoring TV System provides a low cost, real-time video assistance tool giving high quality pictures without the need for an ROV and crew. Internal inspection of any of the riser joints and BOP seals can also be achieved from the versatile camera lens control.

The system incorporates:

A “Chariot” running tool containing a continuous rotate camera and lamps

Hazardous area Zone 1 hydraulic winch and safe area control system.

The hazardous area Zone 1 hydraulic winch deploys the Riser Running Tool via the multi-mode fi bre optic, load bearing umbilical through a sheave block fi tted with load cell and counter which is displayed on the driller’s “DRILLVIEW” monitor.

Blow Out Preventer (BOP) Stack Mount TV SystemKongsberg Maritime’s BOP Stack Mount TV system is a rugged telemetry controlled camera system that is fi tted to the Blow Out Preventer/Lower Marine Riser Package (LMRP) to aid the latching and de-latching of the BOP/LMRP to the well head.

Top side control and monitoring can be conducted either via a stand alone unit or can be distributed to the rig CCTV system.

Anchor Bolster Monitoring TV SystemKongsberg Maritime’s Anchor Bolster Monitoring TV system can be deployed in order to confi rm the orientation of the anchor whilst underwater, eliminating the need to ballast therefore saving valuable rig time.

The system can be winch, cabin or ballast control room operated.

FPSO Drill Support CCTV SystemKongsberg Maritime’s Offshore Drill Support CCTV systems also extend to FPSO applications. These systems are typically deployed from converted oil tankers or semi submersible rigs that are used as Floating Production Storage and Offl oading vessels.
