News!etter 6 c t()her 18,2013 This week we started a new theme in our Language Arts Treasures program: Transportation. We focused on the letter Tt. The students wrote about tigers and even made a rock turtle with his/her own habitat. In math, we continued our unit on number concepts to 10. Important Chan ge : On Thursday, October 31 st ALL kindergarten students attend school from 8:00-11:20. Students should come to school wearing his/her costume (no bloody makeup, weapons, masks, wands or loose items please.) We will begin our day with a Halloween Parade around the school at 8:15. After the parade, we will begin our classroom centers. If you would like to contribute a food item for our celebration, please complete the form below and we will let you know what is needed. You are invited to join us for the parade from 8:15- 8:45, please sign in at the office and wait for us at the top of the amphitheater. Students DO NOT need to bring a snack. I mportant Information: Tuesday, October 29 th : Picture Re-take Day Book Fair October 21 - 25 - No Library books will be checked out.
