Kingsway’s Typical Student

is aged about 45 years old, stays for 2 - 4 weeks,

The Learning Environment

Our courses focus on speaking and listening in a wide variety of general or business contexts.

We do not use course books but use our own materials so that every lesson is interesting and relevant.

Our students expand their vocabulary, improve their fluency and feel more

confident with speaking English. They have fun in lessons!

General English

Our groups go from elementary (A2) to upper-

intermediate (C1) levels. This is a good choice for

you if you want to improve your fluency and confi-

dence. With a maximum of 6 students per class you

can be sure of getting lots of speaking practice.

Business English

Classes are for levels B1 or higher. We cover a

variety of topics useful for professional people, e.g.

small talk in a business context or taking part in

meetings. There is a maximum of 4 students per

class so you get plenty of individual attention.

One-to-One

If you are short of time, have very

specific needs, or are a beginner,

then we recommend you take

one-to-one lessons to focus on

your particular needs.

Combination

You can combine group lessons

with one-to-one lessons and

General English with Business

English. This gives you the best

of both worlds!

Worcester is one of England’s hidden gems. It is a small city away

from the overcrowded and cosmopolitan south-east of the UK.

The city is small enough to feel at home in, but big enough to have a

great range of shops, restaurants, bars and pubs.

Situated on the river Severn and with stunning views to the Malvern

Hills, you have the advantages of city living but beautiful countryside is

within easy reach. The Cotswold villages, Shakespeare’s Stratford,

Warwick Castle, Bath, Stonehenge and Oxford are all nearby.

Homestay Accommodation

We recommend staying with one of our excellent homestays.

All are in nice residential areas within walking distance of Kingsway.

The category “executive” guarantees a private bathroom.

All of our homestays are friendly, warm and welcoming and ensure that

you are immersed in English 24/7.

Breakfast and dinner are included in the weekly price.

Other Accommodation Options

Self-catering: Kingsway owns 2 x 2-bedroomed apartments which are

200 metres from school. They are clean, stylishly furnished and well-

equipped. You can stay there on your own or you can bring a friend or

relative without the price changing.

Hotels: Worcester has a range of 3 and 4 star hotels.

Dates - start any Monday

You can start on any Monday throughout the year with the exception of Easter Monday and the last

Monday of August. On these two Mondays the school is closed and courses start on Tuesday.

The school is also closed for a 2-week break over Christmas.

Most of our students stay for 2-4 weeks but the maximum length for General English

groups is 12 weeks and for Business English groups 4 weeks.

Ideally arrivals should be on a Sunday and departures on a

Saturday, but our homestays can normally be flexible to fit around

the most convenient flights.

Our nearest airport is Birmingham which is 60km from Worcester.

We can provide airport transfers in our own vehicles with our own

drivers from any UK arrival point.
