I am so thankful for the afternoon three years ago, when I read one of the many mass emails about a great organization on campus that wanted to get started at Madison: Camp Kesem. Since becoming a Kesemer, I have accumulated a wonderful family, shared amazing experiences with wonderful people, and have grown so much as a person. I owe this all to the wonderful students, campers, families, and supporters who make the Kesem magic possible!

As many other students have said, joining Camp Kesem was the best decision I As many other students have said, joining Camp Kesem was the best decision I made in college. I’ve had amazing opportunities to assume leadership roles and work on challenging projects, and have learned how much dedication and hard work it takes to successfully run an organization. As the Public Relations Coordinator and Make the Magic Event Planner, I have had so much fun with all of the creative and innovative work that I love doing! Being able to come to camp these past years has been a wonderful opportunity that I am so grateful for everyday, especially because of the amazing campers and families that we have everyday, especially because of the amazing campers and families that we have welcomed into our own Kesem family. There is truly nothing better than hearing how much your hard work and enthusiasm for camp has changed a family’s life.

Following my graduation this weekend with a degree in Journalism and Communication Arts, I will be moving out east to work as a Healthcare Consulting Analyst with Huron Consulting Group. I am so excited for this opportunity, and look forward to keeping the Kesem magic alive wherever I go! Thank you so much to everyone that has been such a support for Camp Kesem UW-Madison - we cannot do this without you! #CampKesemLove to all, and ON WISCONSIN!
