Your quest is to bring color back to the castle! Follow the path and color in a block every time you read or listen to a book. Or instead, track by time and color in a block for every 30 minutes read.

Merlin needs your help!

All logs must be returned by Monday, August 31st.

For each book you finish, color the corresponding number block on Merlin’s path. Make sure you begin where it says “start.” Claim your prize (see below) once you reach the “claim your prize” and “claim another prize” blocks. Once you reach the castle, color it to fulfill your quest. You may also track your progress by time spent reading. Color in a block for every 30 minutes you read.

Read or listen to 5 books or read for 2.5 hours and win a book prize!

After reading or listening to 10 books or reading for 5 hours and your quest is finished, return the completed log to the Library to receive your 2020 SRC t-shirt OR a drawstring bag (while supplies last) and a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of 3 grand prizes: a Technology basket, a Fun & Games basket, or an Art basket!

After completing your first reading log quest, pick up a challenge log quest and raffle ticket at any KCPL location to continue reading for more chances to win the grand prize!

All logs must be returned by Monday, August 31st.
