BODY ‐ Exercise / Fitness for Health & Wellbeing

• 30 minutes of cardio• 3 times per week

When in doubt, go for a walk

BODY ‐ Sleep and the College StudentSleep Stats

• 70% of college students sleep less than 8 hours per night

• 68% of students have trouble falling asleep due to stress

• 20% of students pull “all‐nighters” at least once a month

Sleep Tips

• Stick to a regular bedtime

• Avoid caffeine or alcohol before bed

• Try to avoid studying in bed

• Don’t use electronics late at night

• Goal = 7+ hours per night

Student Health ServicesGoal: To help students maintain an optimal level of good health and well‐being. 

If your college student is sick, please encourage them to call Health Services.

• Student Health Services is nurse‐directed under guidance of a licensed physician.  

• Monday‐Friday 9:00am ‐ 4:30pm 

• Krasa Hall, Room 116

Catholic Faith. Welcoming Spirit.A lived pastoral dimension to the University that is holistic for all community members – built on relationships rooted in the care of the whole person including faith formation, spiritual reflection, moral and ethical development, service and social justice, vocation and dedication to spiritual life and faith practice reflective of the Catholic and Benedictine mission and identity of the University. Our faith is represented in all we do to discover the wisdom of and engage in dialogue with others. Campus Ministry helps the campus community accomplish that mission.

• Mass at St. Benedict Chapel (Kindlon Hall, Fourth Floor) on Sundays at 7pm and Wednesdays at 12pm

• Sacrament of Reconciliation ‐Available before all Masses (Held in Kindlon Hall, Room 411)

• Interfaith Prayer Room (Kindlon Hall 136/137) ‐A welcoming space for all people to pray, contemplate and meditate.

• Muslim Friday Prayers (Founders' Woods Clubhouse) on Fridays at  1:00pm

• Aarti Prayer (Kindlon Hall Interfaith Prayer Room) on Thursdays at 1:00pm 

• Bible Study, Retreats and Special Events
