KALA KAUSHALYADHARA
The Fine arts band more popularly known as the Kala Kaushalyadhara is a part of the
Saptadhara initiative of the Government of Gujarat. The Saptadhara scheme of the
government includes seven bands or clusters of activities to cater to the all round
development of the students of Colleges and Universities in the state. It is beyond doubt
that Arts play a very important role in improving the quality of life. It nurtures critical
thinking and creativity among students, thereby proving to be pivotal in their all round
development. Through fine arts students are able to manifest their inner self to the
external world thus improving their self confidence and developing their personality,
which is an important addition to their overall life skills. Every year the college
organizes a host of activities under the Saptadhara initiative. The following events were
organized as part of interclass competitions among students during the academic year
2016-17

Best Out of Waste
Mehandi
Clay Modelling
Students participated in the events with great fervour and enthusiasm. The winners of
the events were further sent to the Zone level Youth festival.
