It is one of the most important serious problem of the society.

It is almost an outcome of rapid urbanization and industrialization.

A large number of children living in slums and cites are found to be highly vulnerable to this process.

Delinquency problems began to receive public attention particularly since the establishment of justice for juvenile delinquents (juvenile court) in 1899 in Illinois , USA.

Delinquency is a kind of abnormality. When a individual deviates from the course of normal society life ,his behaviour is called Delinquency.

When a juvenile below the specified age exhibits behaviour which may be dangerous to society , he may be called Juvenile Delinquent

behavior that is socially unacceptable to place a criminal act.

sociological changes in the adolescent self allows for two forms of integration . First , the formation of a sense of consistency in his life . Second , the role of identity achievement . Juvenile delinquency occurs because teens fail to reach the second integration period .

b. weak self- control : Teenagers are not able to learn and discern behavior that is acceptable to unacceptable behavior will be dragged on the ' naughty ' . Likewise for those who already know the differences in behavior of the two , but could not develop the self-control to act in accordance with his knowledge .

The feeling is very sensitive and easily hurt , quick to take offense and to exaggerate their own shortcomings , the general symptoms often alone , daydreaming , apathetic listlessness , extremely irritable , very easy to panic , it is very easy to get confused so it tends to be a drinker , a drunk , sucking opium , narcotics , be a dope fiend and so on , even have the heart to commit suicide .

SOLUTIONS

1. Failure to achieve identity and role of the weak self-control can be prevented or overcome by the principles of exemplary. Teens should be able to get as many people figure that has grown well beyond the teenage years are also those who managed to improve themselves after previously failed at this point.

2. The existence of motivation from families, teachers, peers to do the first point.

Juvenile delinquency can be prevented by giving counselling and awareness classes to the children
