Brett Hickman Photography The most powerful stories seem to emerge from love,
relationships and family. A great way to tell those
stories is through a series of images. That’s precisely
where I come in. I have the greatest job in the world –
a photographer that gets to cultivate capture, and
retell stories of those who love each other. I am a fine
art portrait and wedding photographer, and I’d love to
capture your story.... www.bretthickman.com

Don’t forget the gifts! It is important to remember your
wedding party and thank them for all of their efforts. They
have all put time and energy by traveling, taking time off of
work, planning events and being there on your most important
day. Traditionally gifts are given to the best man, groomsmen,
ushers and the ring bearer. If you haven’t already done so,
present your father and the father of the bride with tokens of
your appreciation. You don’t have to go bankrupt giving gifts!
There are plenty of economical ideas, such as cigars, engraved
flasks, beer mugs, watches and the list goes on!
Check us out on Intertwined Events Blog as they detail the difference between venue coordinators and
wedding coordinators. This is an article you wont want to miss!

Bridal Tips
Here are some great ideas for your Summer wedding!
1. Poppy Plants! What a beautiful way to line your aisle…. And better yet double up as centerpieces for your ceremony or give
away as party favors to your guests!
2. No one wants to leave as a lobster. Beat the heat with umbrellas! They can be waiting for guests as they enter for
ceremony or simply have them placed on each chair.
3. What can go wrong with a delicious signature drink? Give your guests something to talk about and enjoy during your
cocktail hour.
4. Shade, yes please! Your guests will be thrilled to have a shaded or indoor seat after your ceremony. Tents and umbrellas are
an easy solution to the sun.
5. Who doesn't love sunglasses? These are a perfect party favor for an outdoor ceremony or reception.
6. Summer means color! Reception linens, table runners, you name it! Don’t be afraid to experiment with bright colors and
fabrics to make your day stand out.
7. Who needs escort cards… think fruit! If you are looking for something new and exciting use fruit as escort cards.
8. Oh my what a beautiful bouquet! Flowers are in bloom with bright and exciting colors. Have fun mixing big blooms and
different hues.
9. Some light to set the mood! Sparking lanterns to light the dinner tables or receptions space are always a classic look.
Interchange small and large lanterns around the space.
10. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! After a night of dinner and dancing your guests deserve a little sweet
treat to cool down. How about a delicious late night sundae bar!
