Dr. Rona Novick is the creator of the Bully Reduction/Anti-Violence Education and Social Leadership Development program, also known as BRAVE. A noted clinical child psychologist, parenting expert, author and speaker, she lectures nationwide, running training programs for teachers in public schools and Jewish day schools on how to address the problem of bullying among children and teenagers.

Novick is the author of the book Helping Your Child Make Friends, and editor of the book series Kids Don’t Come With Instruction Manuals. She has also made numerous appearances on local and national television and radio.

Novick is an associate professor at the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration and a senior fellow at YU’s Institute for University-School Partnership. However, as the mother of three sons, she credits much of her knowledge and skill to on the job training.
