Membrane technology is a term that refers to a number of different filtration processes that are used to separate substances. Membrane technology is a highly complex area of scientific research.With this technology, membranes are used as filters in separation processes, with a wide variety of applications, both industrial and scientific.

The Journal of Membrane Science & Technology under open access category aims to advance our understanding of the separation process, with a wide variety of applications, both industrial and scientific. The Journal of Membrane Science & Technology an international, peer-reviewed journal, publishing an overview of research on different types of membrane technology which includes osmosis, microfiltration, ultrafiltration and nanofiltration.

The Journal of Membrane Science & Technology is a generic term for a number of different, very characteristic separation processes. With this technology, membranes are used as filters in separation processes, with a wide variety of applications, both industrial and scientific.
