Jonathan Sdao, a young professional in New York, is an avid volunteer. “Iam passionate about community service,” says Mr. Sdao. “I have been aleader for the Movember Foundation for three years and have raisedthousands of dollars to support men's health.” He has worked for anumber of non-profit organizations and he has been involved withcharitable projects. While he was a student at Colby College, heparticipated in Project Healing Water and he worked with TeamIMPACT. Community service can be beneficial on a personal level aswell as a professional level.

Volunteer work can be very fulfilling. Individuals who work with non-profit and charitable organizations have the opportunity to help others.Some volunteers may work with underprivileged youth, while othersmay focus on cleaning up their communities. Volunteering for thecommunity can be good for people of any age.
