Since the establishment of German company LBV Prestige GmbH in early 90’s, it’s founder Lucie Berthiaume-Vissing, a Franco-Canadian

jewellery artist, creates an exclusive collection of fashion jewellery.

“Fancy” or “Wow Collection” is the jewellery for the most outstanding and

fashion people, presenting bright colours, modern and original materials.

Collections of “Lucie in the sky” are the reflections of feminine image. “Lucie” jewellery is ideal accessories for women who wish to obsess the best.

“Lucie” jewellery is not found on the internet, the reason for that is safety, because the jewellry is often copied. To stay original the company keeps the collection’s designs in secret.

Why using synthetic gems/stones? – Keeping environment safe and not destroying the nature. Synthetic and real stones look exactly the same, they can be distinguished only in laboratory or in State Prove Commission. Jewellery with natural real stones preferably have tags on it - certificates of genuine characteristics of the stone.

“Lucie in the Sky” is a constant world’s jewelers fairy member.

of lower price.

• aquamarine (blue)

• peridot (green)

• citrine (yellow/orange)

• amethyst (velvet/pink)

• synthetic diamond (one *carat price 80 $)

• ruby (red/rose)

*carat is a unit of mass equal to 200 mg or 0.2 g and is used for measuring gemstones and pearls

Misaki company has a reputation for being expert in pearl jewellery. Misaki brand represents glamour, luxury and prestige.

First established in 1987, the brand took a strategic choice to move its headquarters to Monte Carlo, Monaco, in 1995.

Among the well-known designers who work with the brand is Belgian goldsmith Axel Mees. His work has graced royalty and presidential families, celebrities and the rich and famous, including Princess Stephanie of Monaco and David Bowie.

Misaki (Japanese for “beautiful blossom”)  is a combination of the European and Japanese craftsmanship spirit. Misaki’s motto is "Pearl your life “. It combines pearls with sterling silver, gold or rhodium plating and other crystal stones in its collections. Its pearls are sourced from Japan. Misaki's cultured pearls include Akoya pearls, Fresh water pearls and come in a variety of shapes. Every Misaki jewellery piece goes through a very strict quality control at their Monte-Carlo establishment. Misaki X-treme Lustre pearl is natural pearl or super shining pearl. Misaki product attracts clients by its colors of fashion and elegance. Buyers are assured of a superior quality standard as their jewellery comes with a ten-year guarantee and a two-year guarantee for their watches.

Page 13: Jewellery fashion rix

Misaki pearl in combination with fine silver and stainless steel causes no allergy to skin. Most people don't have any problems wearing sterling silver jewelry. Modern silver alloys don't contain nickel.Natural pearls are those pearls that are formed in nature, more or less by chance. Cultured pearls, by contrast, are those in which humans take a helping hand.

Akoya pearls are cultured in the Pinctada fucata martensii, also known as the akoya oyster. This mollusk is found and farmed primarily in Japan and China. Renowned for their luster, akoya are considered the classic pearl. They are generally white or cream colored, with overtone colors of rose, silver, or cream.

A natural quartz crystal is placed inside the oyster to produce the layers of mother-of-pearl and, two years later, a pearl is fully formed. What’s even more amazing, Misaki’s technicians can control the shape, size and even colour of the pearl. And since contact with perfume or lacquer sprays may affect pearls and jewellery, Misaki’s pearls are finished with anti-perfume coating.

necklaces. Daniel Swarovski’s motto was

“Create a Diamond for Everyone!”The reason behind the huge success of Swarovski

crystals lies in the fact that this crystal actually generates a sparkling effect and produces an array of

rainbow colors when light gets refracted on the crystals. Even though they are artificial they allow maximum

refraction, along with a perfect cut and clear  design. Swarovski particularly has been successful in duplicating actual gemstone colors such as emerald, ruby, blue topaz.

The common metal used for Swarovski jewelry settings is rhodium plated steel. The color of steel blends very well with the crystal.

Crystal - is a very high quality glass that can be colored, cut and responds with sparkle. The term "crystal" also refers to the clear colorless bead or stone, as well as a semiprecious quartz stone that is colorless.

Steel – if it is so-called "surgical steel" marking 316L, so it is the stainless metal which causes no allergic body reaction. The surgical steel 316L specifies that marked this jewel must not contain any part of minor metals like nickel.

Rhodium – metal – which gives a proper gloss and protects metal from mechanical damage. Rhodium doesn't tarnish and is a platinum group metal, and a very expensive one.

Page 18: Jewellery fashion rix

Other material used for Swarovski Jewelry is a white metal consisting of: 1) Coating of copper 2) Palladium alloy3) 22-karat gold/silver/rhodium platingOften Swarovski metal is described as white metal with silver plating and rhodium finish.

Swarovski Fashion Jewellery is created using top-quality Swarovski crystals and the metal parts are plated. The nickel content corresponds to the European norms and has been tested for nickel allergy.Making Swarovski jewellery, tin, ruthenium and titanium are also used.

Swarovski offers collections of beads. Crystal Stardust and Swarovski crystals are sold to other jewelry/fashion/design companies. E.g: “Lucie’s” black and white onyx crystal collection.

How it all began?

At the end of 1976 the administration of SWAROVSKI company wanted to surprise and congratulate their employees for New Years Celebrations and presented them unordinary glass souvenir – a small mouse which was collected from four pieces of crystals from lustre. This invention turned out to be extremely successful. The crystal mouse admired everyone and afterwards was perfectly sold out. This amusement idea leaded the company to create a new branch of crystal manufacturing. The first figurine ever to be created is still a top seller.
