• Jericho Breakers is a dance community that believes in transforming and empowering youth through activities they are passionate about. Jericho breakers is a community based dance group that using dancing as a tool to reach, unite, empower the youth as well as create a voice to claim for youth freedom of expression & speech.

• We believe that our performances inspire young people in schools, churches and communities & get them motivated thus creating a voice to express themselves

• Youth have different potentials ranging from dancing, music, crafts making/ jewelry making, journalism, photography. They have used these skills to reach to the youth in the community to creatively to build & empower the lives of the youth.

Faith Obligations

• Currently Jericho Breakers is now one of the leading gospel dancing groups in Uganda that use dancing and other forms of arts as a tool to change lives of youth and empower the lives of the youth in Uganda.

• However the fact we’re faith oriented, we have not let ourselves been bound by church boundaries and regions. We have extended our operations and activities all the way to the communities & villages to reach to as many youth as we can in the country.

VISION

• Our vision as Jericho Breakers is to instill a passion for dancing in children and youth to plant seeds of consciousness in their hearts that will stay with them for the rest their lives through music and dancing.

MISSION• Our mission is to use dancing as a

tool to reach & change as many youths in Uganda as possible, and also to use dancing as a tool for advocating for the rights of the youths in Uganda.

• Jericho Breakers committed to do two major dance events in a year and various sub events as well as community reach in various parts of the communities & geographical locations.

• The community events have so far been done with help of other communities we collaborate with, financial donation from friends & funs, media equipments donation. With no proper budget.
