OneHope is pleased to announce

the completion of our multi-year, multi-nation

research project on the attitudes and behaviors

of young people around the world.

This month, the analysis will be complete on

our research project which began in 2007 and

takes into account the attitudes and behaviors of

young people in 46 nations.

As far as we know, this is the largest research

project of its kind, encompassing countries from

five continents.The research comprises the

answers young people themselves gave on survey questions which reflect:

• Familysituations,relationships and parental contact

• Behaviorsandmoralvaluesguiding relationships with peers of the opposite sex

• Dailypastimes

• Worldviews, influences, beliefs, future goals, and religious affiliation

• Theologicalperspectivesand commitment (where possible)

Primarily designed to help our team tailor Scripture tools more effectively to each segment of the global youth population, the research is now available to any ministry interested in reaching young people with the Gospel in the best and most effective ways.

Frank wasn’t just there for the candy.

But he wasn’t saying no to it either.

He’s a children’s ministry worker in Ghana, and he had come to the Kids’ Evangelism Explosion training session so he could go home and teach the children in his church how to share their faith, using the special-edition Book of Hope called Pathway to Hope.

The training session was interactive, and any time one of the children’s workers could answer a question correctly, he or she received a piece of candy. Frank’s hand shot up every time a question was asked!

At the end of day one, the trainer told Frank tomorrow he should let other people answer.

Frank, who is hardly more than a boy himself, reached into his pocket and pulled out every piece of candy he’d earned that day.

“I’m not eating it,” he said. “I was just trying to get one piece for each child in my Sunday school class.”

Children’s ministry workers in the poorest regions of the world have very few resources to use in their important work — and even less money to spend on something like candy …

But when they receive the training and resources of Kids’ Evangelism Explosion and the Pathway to Hope book, they’re

Kids’ Evangelism Explosion ... young people reaching young people

tremendously excited about the children they work with sharing the Gospel with their friends!

In Ghana, where Frank is, over 1,000 Sunday school teachers and Bible club leaders have been trained, and they have trained more than 40,000 children and youth. Those graduates have already reported about 600,000 copies of Pathway of Hope distributed among their peers.

“This type of peer evangelism is effective,” said OneHope founder Bob Hoskins. “There is follow up and discipleship. So, we expect to see a large percentage of kids not only come to faith, but actually become a part of local churches.”

He’s excited about the prospects. “We’ll train a generation of young Christians (aged) 9 to 13 to be soul winners … (and) evangelists and then put the tools in their hands. It’s one thing to train them. It’s another thing to provide the tools to actually do the work.”

Since 2010, OneHope and Kids’ EE have taken the Hope for Kids program to 62 countries. In 2012, with God’s help, we plan to have the program in another 29 nations.

Thank you for reaching millions with God’s Word last year!

You’re invited: Hope 365

You can bring the hope of Jesus Christ to three children and youth, every single day of the new year!

Join Hope 365 with your commitment to give $1 a day — $30.42 per month or $365 annually — and you’ll present God’s Word to 1,095 children this year. You’ll reach at least three every single day!

This year, our OneHope faith goal is to touch the lives of 91.8 million children and youth all over the world, but our heavenly Father

doesn’t see 91.8 million ... rather He sees each one as a unique child with a face, a name, a story.

Each one is created in His image, and He desires for each one to be saved.

You’re not responsible for reaching 91.8 million all by yourself, but with God’s help, we can do it together, as each of us does what God calls us to do. How many is God calling you to reach this year?

You can give $365 right now and know you’ve reached 1,095 as part of Hope 365. Or you can send $30.42 now and commit by faith to give the same each month ... you can also sign up online to give automatically, too.

And know that every single day you’re providing God’s Word for at least three young people!

Touch the lives of 1,095 children

Friends like you made the 92 Days of Destiny campaign a success in the final quarter of 2011!

As of this writing, gifts are still coming in. So we are believing God that through His provision and the generosity of friends like you, we will have reached over 89 million

children and youth with God’s Word last year!

Thank you, on behalf of the next generation in Thailand, Cambodia, Colombia, the Muslim world, and nations across the globe where you helped share the love of Jesus Christ

in 2011. Your prayers and faithfulness made the difference.

The economy remains difficult for many of our supporters, so we ask you to please keep praying for God’s provision as the New Year begins.

Thank you!

“I believe one generation is enough to reach Russia with the Gospel,” says Pastor Edward Grabovenko, a OneHope partner and Bishop of the Russian Church of Evangelical Christians. “We should work while there is still light.”

Pastor Edward leads a coalition of 1,600 churches … and they have launched a plan to reach

everyone in Russia with the Gospel, in one generation — it’s called the Hosanna Plan.

There are approximately 104,000 villages in Russia without churches. The goal is to plant 1,600 new churches in unreached areas over the next four years. The key is dedicated believers willing to give one year of their lives as missionaries in their homeland.

Already hundreds of new faith communities have been launched,

and thousands have received God’s Word. And, their program goes hand-in-hand with OneHope, as teams use OneHope Scripture resources to engage children and youth in each community.

Please keep our Russian ministry partners in your prayers. The Hosanna Plan is set to touch an entire nation … but there is opposition, and danger, too. Your prayers make a difference.

Thank you!

Many thanks to the Hope Riders of Africa —

• David Crabtree• David Peele• John McMains• Cassio DaSousa• Armand Brits

These five men bicycled from Botswana to South Africa, a three-day haul, raising money for Scripture

engagement outreaches, and also taking part in Book of Hope distributions along the way.

Their “Hope Ride” was organized by our South African partners called “Reaching a Generation,” and sponsored by Calvary Church in Greensboro, North Carolina. The proceeds — some $40,000 — will benefit OneHope and our partners at Reaching a Generation.

It’s not about how MUCH or how little ...

“Estate planning” and “stewardship” aren’t words that apply only to the wealthy.

Jesus’ great example of stewardship in the New Testament was a little lady who gave just two pennies in her offering.

Stewardship is about leaving a legacy, utilizing whatever God has

placed in your hands, whether you think it’s a little, or a lot.

Proper estate planning can enable you to leave a gift from your estate — perhaps an even greater gift than you’ve ever been able to give in your lifetime. Making this gift to OneHope will enable you to build a legacy of providing the ongoing revelation of God’s Word to the next generation.

When you invest in an estate

planning vehicle such as a charitable gift annuity, your legacy will continue to share God’s Word with children and youth, until Jesus comes.

Find out more about estate planning, stewardship, and the wonderful testimony you can leave for the next generation. Contact Dan’l Markham at 1.800.GIV.BIBL (448.2425) or email [email protected] today.

En Tus Manos ...changing lives!

More than half a million Spanish-speaking young people saw the OneHope film En Tus Manos last year — and thousands chose to follow Jesus!

Our partners in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico have embraced the real-life drama, which was produced by our partners at Toy Gun Films and tells

the true story of a young Latin boy pulled into gang life ... and rescued by God’s Word and power.

The film was created after our research showed that young people in many Latin nations struggled with problems of domestic violence, gangs and drugs.

En Tus Manos, which means “In Your Hands” in English, has made such an important impact, our partners are now expanding

the program into a three-week outreach series which will include two more films and printed Scripture engagement tools.

Please continue to pray for the young people of Latin America, and for our teams who are often working in the most dangerous areas, afflicted with gang violence. Your prayers

and God’s Word can make an incredible impact!

Dear Friend,It’s a spiritual battle for the

souls of the next generation. We’ve known this from the start ... and yet 2011 brought it home again. The enemy fought us tooth-and-nail to keep God’s Word from the children of the world. As we launch a new year of ministry, we feel compelled to plead with our partners to intentionally PRAY for the next generation. We have partners in sensitive areas who risk their lives to share the Good News. We have partners in impoverished areas who struggle for their daily bread ...And yet they remain committed to reaching the children and youth.

The power of God’s Word, combined with the prayers of His people, is a dramatic force for life-transformation.Please, please, be part of it again this year, through your intercession and prayers, for our team, for the believers who partner with us worldwide, and for the children and young people themselves.Your faithful prayers and generosity continue bringing hope to them, all around the world. Thank you.

OneHope is an international ministry that presents a biblical message of purpose and hope to children and youth around the world. In collaboration with churches and ministries — and working with local governments, schools and non-governmental organizations — OneHope has reached over 791 million young people in over 125 countries with the Gospel message.  Through research conducted among children and youth, leaders and educators in the countries where we work, we have designed innovative ministry models geared to help local churches and ministries engage young people with Scripture.

G O D ’ S W O R D . E V E R Y C H I L D .

Wendy chose to follow Jesus after she saw our film, En Tus Manos.

Wendy in God’s hands

Her papa was drunk again.

And when he was drunk, he often became violent.

He’d never been able to provide for the family ... Wendy’s two older sisters provided for themselves, as prostitutes.

Theirs is a common story for poor people in Colombia.

Wendy didn’t see any hope for her future. She’d made a new “family” for herself, with the other members of her gang.

But then she saw the film, En Tus Manos. It told of a boy whose drunken father abused him ... who looked for hope and acceptance in a gang ... and of the pastor’s daughter who reached out to him with God’s love.

When Wendy saw the sacrifice

the boy in the film made, to leave the gang life and live his life for Christ ... she felt very strange. Everything she had ever learned and believed seemed to be turned on its head.

Did that boy make the right choice?

Could she herself make the same choice?

She began to believe that she could make a difference, not just in her own life, but in her family, too. Wendy chose to follow Jesus as her Savior, and she left her gang.

“I want to make a complete turnaround,” Wendy says. “I want my witness to make my family think, as a result of my testimony.”

She’s praying her sisters, and her father, will come to know Jesus because of her transformation.

Thanks for helping to send God’s Word to Wendy, and her family! You have helped to change Wendy’s life, and bring her hope for eternity!

Wendy hopes her life will be a witness of God’s

love to her family
