The new year has started. It’s sure to be amazing and we’ve filled the first two
months calendar. There was so much to pack into this newsletter and I wanted to
make sure I didn’t leave anything out.
Vickie Wall, who is a certified instructor for Judy Niemeyer, has a two day Pris-
matic Star class in January and a beginning paper piecing class in February. If
you have ever wondered if you could make perfect blocks, these classes are for
you and yes you can.
Tuffets are all the rage and we have our first class in February. Class size is
small, but if you don’t get in we’ll put you on the waiting list for a future class. I
think it’s going to be like trying to eat one potato chip or one piece of chocolate.
So many rooms, so many places to put your feet up.
Nancy Bednar is returning in February for two classes. A gathered skirt for
those of you love your serger and an Art Collage Cushion for those of you who
love embroidery. We will play with DesignWorks to complete your collage.
Sunday, January 17th is a Yard Sale in the classroom. We decided that is safer
due to our unpredictable weather. See page two for more information.
Our Artist in Residence Anna Koelewyn has decided to take a break from teach-
ing. Some of her classes are still on the schedule and will be covered by staff.
Luckily for all of us this means she will have more time to be creative. She will be
working on some pattern ideas that I’m sure will be fabulous. We will miss seeing
her on a regular basis.
Lastly, dime (Designs in Machine Embroidery) will be back with us in February. If
you attended the last Social you know you won’t want to miss this one. If you
missed it join us for four hours of fun. See page three for all the scoop.
Dawna, Fay, Susan and the rotary crew.
Store Hours
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 10-6, Wednesdays 10-8
Sat 10-5, Sunday 12-5, Closed Mondays
Many classes have kits that are re-
quired and we have tried to keep their
expense to a minimum. Many classes
do not require a kit, but do require
supplies. We ask that you purchase the
class supplies from Bolts in the Bath-
tub. This is the how we can maintain
low class fees and continue to be here
for you. Thanks for your support.

will return it to you cleaned up and in tip top shape.
When you bring your machine in for repair, please bring the following items to help us ser-
vice it faster:
1) Bobbin and bobbin case (thread tension needs to be adjusted with your bobbin case).
