Cuddle Suede Below are a few tips and tricks for working with Cuddle Suede! 1. Fabric Type: Cuddle Suede is a napped woven polyester. Easy to sew and care for. 2. Pins: Use standard sewing pins. Pins will not leave holes. 3. Needle: Use a universal needle. Size 75/11. We like SCHMETZ! 4. Pressing: Use a press cloth and regular steam iron (press cloth can be a very thin dishtowel- a half yard of white cotton washed make a perfect cloth). Press the seams open on wrong side without the cloth. Then turn seam over, apply the cloth to the right side, and use steam from the iron. 5. Finishing/Edges: Cuddle Suede frays, so finishing the edges is recommended. Use pinking blade, serger, or hem edges. 6. Lining/Garments: Lining Cuddle Suede is not necessary. However, to acheive a more luxurious garment, our Silky Satin is ideal. 7. Care and Wash: Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. If you prefer, Cuddle Suede can be drycleaned. 8.
