CONNECTING TO CHRIST

Game Night

Game Night is here at Christ Lutheran Church January 8th and usually on the 1st Friday night of each month @ 7 pm. Domino’s, Pinochle, or what would you like to play with others here at church? Come and enjoy a fun evening of fellowship.

Dartball Group Dartball will be here on Saturday Januray 9th @ 9 am. No experience required. You will be shown how to throw a dart, and learn that “experience” players still have trouble getting on bases. Come and enjoy a fun morning in the Fellowship Hall and join the group afterwards for lunch.

LWML Mary Martha LWML/Mary Martha’s regular monthly meeting will be on Tuesday January 12th @ 7pm. This month is finishing plans for the Fashion show that will be held on February 13th.

49er’s

The 49er’s will meet January @ 6 pm. They will have a game night this month. Bring a dish to share. Come & enjoy an evening of fellowship.

LWML Rachel Guild

Is meeting this month on January 12th and January 26th @ 12:30 pm in the Education building. Bring your lunch and join the bible study after lunch.

The Sewing Group We will resume sewing, quilting, or whatever you would like to do, on January 7th and 21st, from 9 a.m. – 12 noon. Nell Ohff will be showing us quilting with a regular sewing machine, (we have 4 machines and a serger in the fellowship hall) so if this is something you would like to try, come out and join us. We also like to “do lunch” after. Thank-you, again, to all those who came out to work on the pillowcases. Any questions, ask Nell Ohff or Carol Huntwork.

God’s Hands Puppet Ministry Meets this month on Jan 16th, 23rd, and the 30th. They practice one hour from 10 till 11 am each week. If you have a friend that is age 10 or older and would like to invite them to be a puppeteer, please do! We look forward to working with all of you as we love spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through puppetry. Kathleen, Sharon, Terry and Alan

Marlene Vastine sister – in – law of Wayne Reedy, who sustained a skull fracture and bleeding in the brain. We pray for recovery and

God’s hand of healing and miracles as he cares for His child.

Jeanette Lowanse (sister-in-law of Joan Murdick) Has emphysema and is going into respiratory failure. She is being placed on a lung

transplant list. We pray for peace and comfort.

Randy Bowser (Roy Murdick’s nephew) has aggressive cancer. Is going to have a leg and part of his thigh removed. We pray for

peace and comfort.

Carolyn Dove(friend of K.& J Kinzer) Is at home and recuperating fine from hip surgery. We pray for healing and a quick recorvery.

Deborah Hady (mother of Josh Hady) was transferred to closer to home for further treatment. We pray for health and strengthening of

her body.

Amanda Florio (niece of Bert Florio) had some of her tumor removed that was near her spine and now may require radiation and/or

chemo. We pray for comfort and peace.

Fred Darling (friend of Robin Walter) had stroke and is paralyzed on right side. We pray for healing and comfort.

Jason Kostner (son of Sharon Kostner) requires elbow surgery being scheduled in January. We pray for comfort until the surgery.

Callie Anderson (3 year old step great granddaughter of Marge and Milt Pritchard) has very aggressive cancer. We pray for comfort

and peace for her and her family.

Sonia Blake (Sister-in-law of Marge and Milt Pritchard) has cancer. We pray for comfort and peace.

Glenda Colvin (mother or Brad Colvin) is going for chemo therapy for uterine cancer. We pray for peace and

comfort.

Susan Colvin (Kathy Colvin’s sister who married Brad’s brother) is going through cancer treatment. We pray for

comfort and peace.

Bob & Betty Fox (Friends of Pastor Meseke) Recuperating from auto accident. We pray for healing and comfort.

Toni Britton (Friend of Pastor Meseke) Recuperating from auto accident. We pray for healing and comfort.

The Beasly family (relatives of Bill and Marcia Pridgen) Having issues with their adopted family that came from an

abusive home. We pray for their joys and their trials.

Brian Driscoll (Pearl Stippich’s son) Recovering from his cancer surgery. We pray for healing, comfort and peace.

Jim McNally (55 year old brother of Marilyn Wajda) has recurring cancer on his tongue. We pray for peace and comfort while waiting

to hear what his treatments will be.

Bob Karre (Brother-in-law of Ernie and Nell Ohff) has kidney cancer. We pray for healing, comfort and peace.

George Wiegand (friend of Moe Freeland) fell breaking several fingers and needing many stitches. We pray for healing and comfort.

Barbara Woodward (Betty Dunstan’s daughter) has seroma in the breast cavity where a tumor was removed last November. We pray

for comfort and healing.

Kris Botterman (Betty Dunstan’s (sister-in-law) had shoulder surgery. We pray for healing and a quick recovery.

Richard Dominik (husband of Darlene Dominik) Is having spinal problems in the neck area. He heard that

surgery is not an option. Please pray for comfort and healing.

Ethel Kehrbaum, (mother of Kathy Bloomer) is now in Serenity House, a small care home. Prayers for healing and peace.

Kathy Love(Sister of Bob Love) has health issues. We pray for healing and comfort.

Gina Charles (Friend of Sandy Kaliscak) Has ovarian cancer and having chemo treatments. We pray for

comfort.

Whitney Burkhart who suffers from stomach cancer. We pray for peace as she undergoes chemo therapy, and peace to Barry and

Joann as they help their daughter.

Carol Heveron (daughter of Joan Ferris) has had lung surgery. She will be taking chemo treatments. We pray for a quick recovery and

peace.

Ronald Ungs (Brother-in-law of Garry & Shirley Welder) was diagnosis with cancer. We pray for comfort and healing.

Sonya Mueller (Friend of Inge Malone) Had colon cancer operation at Moffitt. We pray for healing and

recovery.

Laura Hoff (friend of Kathleen Barnes) has recurring cancer and needs prayers. We pray for comfort and health.

Bob Wilson(friend of Kathleen Barnes) has been diagnosed with colon and rectal cancer. We pray for comfort and health.

Miranda (Granddaughter of Sarah McGinnis)We pray for a miracle in her life. Miranda is diagnosed with a

solid mass. We pray for God’s divine Will in His miraculous way.

Phyllis Ming (sister-in-law of Ondrea VanHorn) Recovering from bladder cancer surgery held on Dec 4th. We pray for comfort and heal-

ing.

Kelly Thomas (19 year old friend of Kathy Bloomer) who suffered a spinal injury from an auto accident, is now at home. Unable to walk,

using a wheelchair, but still fighting to try to walk again. We praise the Lord that she survived!
