PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE The New Year has arrived and with that a great Specialty show in Indio. Many of our club members enjoyed the cooler weather and seeing old friends and our wonderful Goldens in the conformation, obedience and rally rings. A special thanks to Theresa Douglas for stepping up and chairing this event and the great club members who helped with all the various activities during the day and evening. Without club members who will step up to volunteer to chair an event or help with the many aspects of putting one on, we would not be able to have this or other specialties. I am truly appreciative of everyone's help in making this such a special event. We have several activities planned for the next couple of months: a general meeting with Dr. Jean Dodds discussing Fading Puppy Syndrome and Taurine Deficiency in Golden Retrievers; a seminar with Janice Gunn focusing on performance and your dog; a B-OB Match/Play Day March 10; plus a health clinic May 4th. More information is located in this newsletter. I look forward to seeing each of you at our events. Gerri Monohan GRCGLA President

Nancy Talbott and Valerie Wagner have volunteered to conduct the yearly financial GRCGLA audit along with Dave Garges. They will be meeting shortly. Thank you in advance for agreeing to donate your time.
