Young people often face challenges in learning about their sexual identities and sexual health. Misinformation from teachers, peers, or the internet leads to a need for a safe, supportive environment where young people can be informed and empowered to take charge of their sexual health.

Concept: Passing through knowledge. As the user moves along the path, different levels of transparency are encountered. These levels help to define public and private space as well as to represent the process of enlightenment described by the path through the building.

Hospitality Design Sparks Hotel - Group Project

To design a hospitality experience that encourage interaction and connection between guests, staff and the community. Interacting with one another allows the travelers to learn, create and appreciate new experiences. New experiences give us moments to remember and can stick with one forever.

Concept: The concept is derived from “fireworks.” When firework sparks, it gives out bright light with different colors adding energy to the environment and influencing everyone in the space.

Stahl Center is located at 73 Tremont Street in Boston, the library occupies the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the building. The rest of the floors are for administrative and academic uses.

Design an extended galleries space for student work at Mount Holyoke College’s art museum.

Concept: Struck by the enveloping nature of the arboretum on site. The notion of “galleries in the woods” comes to fruition as these galleries sit amongst a group of significant trees. At night passerby would notices these glowing amorphous containers. They exist as lanterns of light which hold within them works of art by student from different disciplines. Gallery exist on piers, so that it won’t distract the arboretum trees.
