Brandon was our captain and lost the toss, which allowed Soldiers Point to bat first. Jack and Cobi were our opening bowlers. All of our bowlers performed well, keeping Soldiers Point to 106 from 25 overs. Anna Bay then went in to bat. Brandon high scored with 40 not out. Anna Bay put up a great fight but unfortunately fell short of the required runs at 91. It was a great day and everyone had fun and a fantastic experience.” By Harrison and Brandon. Hunter Touch Report – Brandon T “On the 25 th July I headed to Tamworth to play for Hunter in the State Touch Carnival. On the first day we had a training session to rehearse our plays. At this time I was announced as captain for the 2016 Hunter Touch Team! After the training session we had a practice game against Sydney West. On Tuesday morning Hunter team had our first official game against Riverina and won 7-0. The next game was against Western and we won again. 4-0. Throughout the day Hunter went on to win 3, lose 2 and draw 1 out of our 6 games. Our first game on Wednesday was against South Coast and unfortunately we lost 3-2. We then had a back to back game against Sydney West and lost 4-3. Over the day Hunter won 2 and lost 2 games. Hunter only had 2 games on Thursday. The result against Sydney South West was a 5-1 win, and CIS an 8 -1 win. Unfortunately Hunter missed out on making the finals by one point. Even though we missed out it was a great experience for all of us. I really enjoyed it!!” Brandon T Showcase Success It was wonderful to have so many family members in the audience for our 2016 Showcase yesterday! The morning was a great success. Supporting your child online - Your Digital reputation Parents need to discuss the consequences of a nega-tive digital reputation with their children. In order to pro-tect their reputation, both online and offline, young peo-ple need to consider how they manage their own and others’ messages and images.

•Talk to your children about managing personal infor-mation on social networking sites. Encourage them not to put any personal information on their profiles. This includes their phone number, personal email address, home or school addresses, or the name of their school.

•Remind your children that much of what they do online can be made public, and may go beyond the group of friends they intend it to reach. A good general guide is for kids not to post photos that they would not want strangers to see.

•Encourage your children to be careful when they post photos and to consider how what they post might be viewed by others.

•Talk to your children about the potential social, aca-demic, employment and legal implications of posting inappropriate material of themselves or others online. Encourage them to think about who might see the con-tent and what the impact might be, now and in the fu-ture.

•Remind them to take care with others’ digital reputa-tions. They should not post images of others without their permission and should take care with comments about others. https://vimeo.com/87241099 For more information please visit https://esafety.gov.au/education-resources/iparent
