A message from our Principal…
Welcome back! It gives me enormous joy to see all of our students return. The buzz in the classrooms and the playground has been incredible. The last 4-6 weeks has been a bit of a blur really. But what is important to know is that while students may have been off site for a small period, there is still over 25 weeks to go in the school year. Lots of time to be absorbed in engaging learning activities and I know the teachers will be doing their absolute best to make up for some lost time. The transition back to face to face learning has been overwhelmingly positive. With our increased number of students returning, we are asking parents to support keeping the school safe by: • Dropping off and picking up your child from the school gate. Social distancing between adults is still 1.5m. • Parents are asked to send children to school with a water bottle. School bubblers should not be used for drinking, only for refilling water bottles. Ensuring students cross only at the designated crossings when entering and exiting the school. If you have any questions, please ask at any time.
I am sure everyone – students, teachers and parents are genuinely excited about coming back to a more familiar routine from this week on. Kind regards, Brett
