Trinity Lutheran School & Early Childhood Center News
November is often a time we've chosen to focus on our Blessings. In doing so, we are blessed to be able to interact with and recognize our Students of the Week during chapel each week. This is a celebration of those students who follow Christ's example by sharing His love with others, by being responsible for homework, by accepting classroom responsibilities and by responding to teacher requests. We are grateful for having these students affect us in such a positive way. Recognized thus far as Students of the Week are: Drew S. (8th) and Kayla V. (2nd).
During November we will also pay respect to our veteran's with a Veteran's Day Program on Monday, November 11th, beginning at 2:00 pm and ending at 3:00 pm in the gymnasium. Everyone is welcome. We are truly grateful for the service our veterans have provided in keeping our country safe and protecting the freedoms we now enjoy.
We are also very appreciative of the wireless internet system recently installed within our school. This wireless internet system will help us provide students and staff with the updated technology necessary for us to continue to provide the best possible Christian education.
As some may have noticed in the recent article in the Herald Palladium, we are enjoying a new and improved media center. This would not have been possible were it not for the help of many volunteers. Thank you for using your talents to provide additional learning opportunities for our students and staff.
Finally, we also plan to share our blessings by collecting food for Thanksgiving Baskets. Each classroom has designated non perishable food items they are collecting for inclusion in these baskets. For more information and/or a detailed list of items each class is collecting please contact the school office at (269)983-3056.
May your November be filled with His many blessings!

It's Apple Harvest Time! The Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Students made trips to Stover's Farm in October. We had fun picking apples, grapes and pumpkins. What a great way to see God's Creation in action. We also learned about the Potawanami Indians and how they made bowls and spoons from pumpkins and brooms from corn. We even got to go on a hayride!! Thanks to all the parents who joined us. We had a great time!
If you walk around Trinity's ECC you will see lots of other evidence that its Harvest time. We have lots of pumpkin and apple projects hanging in the classrooms. We are counting apples and finding our favorite. We are learning about the different color apples and how they are special because God made them that way.
We have been studying Creation and Noah during our Jesus time. The children are singing about building arks and lots of rain!!
We continue to search for just the right lead teachers for our Infant and Toddler classrooms. The Lord is working and we have had several candidates. I hope to be able to tell you who he has sent us very soon. Please continue to keep the Early Childhood Center, its staff, students and families in your prayers as God continues to bless us each and every day!!

PARTNERING IN PRAYERBy Pastor Jim Eggert
Hebrews 4:14-16 (NIV)Since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Prayers for God's PeopleLord God, You are our refuge in good and in bad times. Thank You for being our provider and protector. In Your infinite mercy, bring peace and comfort to those who face days filled with pain, distress, or discouragement. Help us realize that through You there is joy and peace. Walk before us so that we walk in Your footsteps and reach out to You in our journey through life. O Lord, help us focus on our blessings rather than our difficulties. Amen
Father God, I recognize that in so many ways I have not lived my life for You. I need and want You in my life. I gratefully remember the completed sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, in giving His life for me on the cross, and I know that by Your grace I have the forgiveness of sins. O Lord Jesus, expand Your rule in my heart and be my Lord and my Savior. I desire to follow You all the days of my life. Spirit of God, keep me on the path to eternal life, guiding me for all that is pleasing to You. Amen.
Almighty God, ruler of all the nations of the earth, I implore You to graciously forgive our shortcomings as a nation. Change us from within so that we see and love the truth. Give wisdom, integrity, and diligence to our leaders. Keep this nation in Your tender care. I pray in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who made it possible to come into Your presence boldly. Amen
O Sovereign Lord, through Your Word and Spirit support those who serve You by ministering to the armed forces of our country. Give them grace to share the Gospel boldly, to counsel with love, and to administer Your sacraments faithfully. Strengthen them and give them courage in the perils of their calling, that they might glorify You before all people. Amen.

Trinity in MissionOne of Trinity's core values is outreach. We express this value with these words: In the Great Commission our Lord has called us to go and make disciples of all nations. He has also commissioned us to be His witnesses. In faithfulness to the Lord's Great Commission we are engaged in Christian missions in our community and the world. This section of the Connected is set aside to share mission stories of Trinity members with the goal of encouraging all of us to go and make disciples. If you have a story to share, please contact Pastor Roth.
