This standard indicates good management and control of the environmental aspects and impact in line with the country’s legal and standard requirements as well as the best-practices of the organization leading to the objective of reducing wastes, costs and risks. This is a framework designed to measure and improve the way natural resources are used and disposed of by the organization.

Through the ISO 14001:2015 Certification, Toyota Pasong Tamo underwent assessments, trainings, documentations and process audits to ensure compliance to the standard.

On the 27th day of November 2018, TOYOTA PASONG TAMO gained a competitive advantage

by being awarded with ISO 14001:2015

What is an Environmental

Management System? An Environmental Management System helps organizations identify,

manage, monitor and control their environmental issues in a holistic

manner.

Like other ISO management systems, it uses a High-Level Structure.

This means it can be integrated easily into any existing ISO

management system.

It also includes the need for continual improvement of an organization’s

systems and approach to environmental concerns.

What is ISO 14001:2015?

ISO 14001:2015 exist to help organizations minimize the negative effect of the organization towards the environment which causes adverse changes to air, water and land. It also specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. As Similar to ISO 9001 or the Quality Management System, these standards focuses on the process (operation and services), rather than the product output itself.

The overall idea is to establish an organized approach to systematically reduce the impact of the environmental aspects which an organization can control. Effective tools for the analysis of environmental aspects of an organization and for the generation of options for improvement are provided by the concept of cleaner production.
