Product Feature Sunset – Enterprise Legacy UI Encompassing solutions: InvestOne / Performance / Portfolio Management

Did you know: FIS will sunset the Enterprise Legacy UI with the deployment of Release 16.0 beginning in April 2017? InvestOne, Performance, and Portfolio Management clients should ensure that all users are migrated to the enhanced functionality of the Enterprise Rich UI as soon as feasible, but by no later than the date of their upgrade to Release 16.x. FIS continues to address and remediate reported Rich UI issues as a high priority.

APM System Monitoring Tool

Encompassing solutions: InvestOne / Portfolio Management / Control Center

Did you know: FIS is utilizing Computer Associates’ application performance management (APM) tool for monitoring the InvestOne and Control Center applications? APM agents have been deployed across all SaaS production servers for the accounting engines, Enterprise, and Control Center environments. FIS has defined monitoring dashboards with drilldown capabilities, allowing both client services and technical support teams to recognize issues and abnormal activities. APM has improved our ability to diagnose system behaviors, triage problems and identify root cause. Appropriate product-specific and client-specific customized alerts have been defined. The alerts introduce duration in addition to thresholds, reducing and in many cases eliminating, false positives. FIS can proactively identify problems and reach out to impacted clients informing them that an issue is being addressed. APM is also being used to identify tuning opportunities, validate post implementation changes, and measure the success of those changes. While several benefits have already been recognized, FIS is continuing to build out APM with additional FIS solutions with expectations to take more advantage of the functionality the tool offers.

Browser Expense Calculator

Encompassing solution: InvestOne

Did you know: what causes the ‘Account ID is not valid’ error to be returned when attempting to submit an expense request for a reporting account within Browser Expense Calculator? The Browser Expense Calculator module requires the reporting account to have an active STATUS of ‘E’ on the account definition (AAAD) screen. Once active, Browser Expense Calculator will allow expense submission for a reporting account.

Edit on Translation CS Date Rate Not Found

Encompassing solutions: InvestOne / Portfolio Management

Did you know: what the message “Sweep Completed CS Date Rate Not Found” message on the Global Translate (GLTR) means? This message is received whenever a transaction is processed against a floating rate security but a rate is not defined on the Corporate Actions/Rates (DECR) screen where the ex-date is equal to the contractual settlement date of the transaction. To clear the message, you would input the corresponding rate on DECR.
