Special Education is the Education of the students with special needs in a way that addresses the students individual differences and needs

It also refers to the management of teaching procedure ,materials ,accessible settings ,and other intervention designed to address the needs of students with learning differences ,mental health issues ,physical and developmental disability

cognitive and social-emotional instruction offered to children who are faced with one or more disabilities.
These disabilities are categorized into the following areas:
1. Autism Spectrum Disorder: significantly affects communication (both verbal and nonverbal) and social interaction
2. Multiple disabilities: impairments such as intellectual disability + blindness or intellectual disability + orthopedic impairment(s)
3. Traumatic Brain Injury: refers to an acquired injury to the brain caused by external physical forces
Basic Steps in Special Education1. Child is identified as possibly needing
special education and related services.2. Child is evaluated.3. Eligibility is decided.4. Child is found eligible for services.5. Services are provided.
The scope of Special Education Every special child receives an appropriate and
free public education.
Special education can also provide the child with related services such as transportation, occupational, and physical therapy, and psychotherapy
Child with a learning disability needs a little extra time, care which is been provided in special education programs that are so important to the health of children's educational future

special education helps them to regain their confidence and build trust that they have the ability to compete with rest of the world.
Special Education programs encourages them that they can also have the possibility of having a bright future.
It helps them to be independent and not depending on someone.
It also helps them to develop themselves so that they are no more burden on their families and the on the society.
Role of Special Education…
Facilitate Academic Progress Special education programs facilitate
academic progress by providing the least restrictive environment and tailoring instruction and assessment to the individual.
Role of Special Education…
Teach Life Skills Some special education programs are geared
toward teaching life skills, such as dressing, personal hygiene, safety, handling money and day to day decision making.
Modify Student Behavior Special education programs also teach
behavior that is appropriate and acceptable by society.
Need Of Time It is need of the time to expand the
special education services so that the maximum number of special population may be benefited.
