Why are we doing this?

Instructional Coach

A resource in my school who can support me in instruction and literacy strategies.The purpose is to increase student achievement by responding to student need through learning and working together.

My team is looking for a way for students determine importance of information in text. They seem either write everything they read, or hardly write anything at all. We discuss this in our team meeting with the inst. coach. She presents a strategy for this and we work through its strengths and weaknesses together after we give it a try.
