CJTF Phase III Current Situation (D+5)
Commander’s Intent
PURPOSE: Deterrence failed, so we will now counterattack and use all CJTF assets to defeat Cottonland’s military forces. Our goal is the complete defeat of Cottonland’s war-making abilities.
KEY TASKS: Counterattack to defeat Cottonland military forces and render them
combat ineffective.Locate and destroy Cottonland SSM units.Utilize ISR assets to locate the RG, SSM units, and amphibious operations. Protect regional/international shipping lanes, air transit routes, and overland
commerce routes Prevent sabotage of Peachland’s oil facilities and JTF rear area.
ENDSTATE: Cottonland’s Republican Guard forces (and all other organized military forces) are defeated and their war-waging ability is terminated. Region is stabilized and conditions are set for an international peacekeeping force to guarantee future stability.
