Integrated ATPL with Wizz Air

An exciting and challenging, full-time training program designed to take aspiring airline pilots with very little or no flying experience directly to the Co-Pilot seat with Wizz Air.

This fully-mentored program is characterized by high- quality pilot training leading to a ‘frozen’ ATPL with Airbus A320 type rating.

Successful applicants will be provided with a conditional offer of employment by Wizz Air before training begins.

> Status: Full-time

> Duration: 21 months, subject to scheduling

To apply for this program, you must meet the following requirements:

Age and heightAged between 18 and 55.Minimum height 5 ft. 2 in. (157 cm), maximum height 6 ft. 3 in. (191 cm).

Education and English languageYou must have achieved the following academic standard (or equivalent).

CEEA High School Degree (normally achieved at age 18) with a good standard in Mathematics, Science and English language – supported by certificate evidence.

United Kingdom5 GCSEs at grade C or above - including Mathematics, Science and English language – or equivalent, supported by certificate evidence.Be fluent in English (verbal and written).

MedicalAbility to obtain and maintain an EASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate prior to enrollment.

VisasHave a valid passport with an unrestricted current right to live and work in the European Union with an ability to travel unrestricted worldwide.

Background and selectionProduce a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate before training can commence and pass Wizz Air referencing checks.

Pass a selection process.Current PPL(A) holders are eligible to apply.

Basic training

Foundation flight trainingSingle-engine piston aircraft.

Approximately 24 weeks Approved L3 location

Intermediate training

Commercial and instrument flight trainingIncluding Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT). Single & multi-engine aircraft and simulator.

Approximately 18 weeks Approved L3 location

Multi-Pilot flight trainingOur world-renowned Airline Qualification Course (AQC) incorporating Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) certificate, advanced handling skills and an Initial Crew Resource Management (CRM) course.

Approximately 3 weeks* Approved L3 location

Advanced training

A320 Type Rating trainingAirbus A320 simulator and aircraft with L3 Airline Academy and Wizz Air.

Approximately 8 weeks

Approved L3 location or Wizz Air base

Entry Criteria

Wizz Air Fastrack 1‘Fast Track’ programs have been designed for holders of a Private Pilot License (PPL) with logged aircraft flight experience.

Wizz Air Fast Track 1 is designed for PPL(A) holders with a minimum of 154-hours logged flight experience, this must be achieved prior to the commencement of CPL/MEIR aircraft flight training.

This program is characterized by high-quality training leading to a ‘frozen’ ATPL with A320 type rating. Successful applicants will be provided with a conditional offer of employment by Wizz Air before beginning training.

This is a truly unique Airline Pilot career program which will enable you to take to the skies and embark upon an unrivaled Airline Pilot career path with Wizz Air.

> Status: Full-time > Duration: Approximately 10 months> Type: Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)> Required experience: PPL(A) and minimum 154-hours> Employment: Conditional offer of employment from Wizz Air> Locations: United Kingdom / global academies
