The ATPL Integrated Program

The ATPL Integrated training program is the fastest

way to aquire a commercial pilot license, allowing

you to start working at an airline. With this intensive

training program, you will transfer yourself from

the ground, with no previous flying experience,

straight up to the First Officers seat on a multi-engine

commercial aircraft.

The ATPL Integrated training course allows you to

attain the Frozen ATPL (Commercial Pilot License

(A)/IR/ME + ATPL theory). With this license, you

will be able to apply to the airline of your interest or

continue your pilot training with an independent

rating training course.

Pre-Entry Requirements • Be at least 17 years old;

• Pass the Assessment test of the school;

• Have the EASA Medical Certificate (class 1).

Are you dreaming of becoming a professional pilot, but you’re not sure how to achieve that?

The ATP theoretical knowledge course (ground

school) comprises of 14 subjects and includes 750

hours of classroom training, slide presentations,

progress tests and sample exams. The duration of

the course is 7 months and takes place at the Școala

Superioară de Aviație Headquarters in Bucharest,

Romania.

During the training, you will have to pass 14 ATPL theory exams to prove a sufficient level of

knowledge, appropriate to the privileges of the

holder of an ATPL(A) in accordance with the EASA

Part FCL requirements. The exams will be conducted

at the Civil Aviation Authority and will be scheduled

by SSAvC.

The Integrated ATPL course is divided into 5 phases of training:

• Phase 1 – Developing basic flight skills;

• Phase 2 – Initiation into complex flying;

• Phase 3 – Introduction to Commercial flying;

• Phase 4 – Advanced flight skills;

• Phase 5 – Multi Crew Cooperation & Jet

Orientation Course.

At the end of the program, the trainee will have flown

205 hours, out of which 109.5 hours Dual (with FI),

116 hours under IFR, 20 hours SPIC, 50 hours on the

simulator, 50 hours solo cross-country.

After the successful completion of the written exams (ATPL), you will pass the practical skill exam, during which you will demonstrate the ability to:

• Operate the airplane within its limitations;

• Complete all maneuvers as smooth and as

accurate as requested by the EASA;

• Exercise good judgment and airmanship;

• Apply aeronautical knowledge;

• Maintain control of the airplane at all times.

This means that training progresses through a series

of modules, or individual courses, that you can take

whenever it works best for you, provided you do

them in the correct order. Each module will be a step

forward on your training schedule, but you don’t

need to commit to taking them all at once. This way

you can advance on your own schedule, allowing

you to undertake other activities while you build your

aviation career.

Training StructureYou will be completing these modules:

• Private Pilot License;

• Night Rating;

• ATPL Theory;

• Structured Time Building;

• Instrument Rating;

Air Traffic

Controllers training

What is the Air Traffic Control?Air traffic controllers (often abbreviated to ATC) are

personnel responsible for the safe, orderly, and

expeditious flow of air traffic in the global air traffic

control system.

Usually stationed in air traffic control centers and control

towers on the ground, they monitor the position, speed,

and altitude of aircraft in their assigned airspace, visually

and by radar, and give directions to the pilots by radio.

The position of air the traffic controller is one that requires

highly specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Controllers apply separation rules to keep aircraft

at a safe distance from each other in their area

of responsibility, and move all aircraft safely and

efficiently through their assigned airspace sector, as

well as on the ground.

Because controllers have an immense responsibility

while on duty, and make countless real-time

decisions on a daily basis, the ATC profession is

consistently regarded around the world as one of the

most mentally challenging.

Compliance with regulationsThe course is compliant with Commission

Regulation (EU) 2015/340.

• The course program is approved by the

Romanian CAA.

• The training organisation (SSAvC) is certified

according to European Regulations by the

Romanian CAA.

The course gives students general knowledge and understanding of the responsabilities of the air traffic control and the complete Air Traffic Management system.

Rating courses are available only after the

successful completion of the BASIC COURSE.

After the successful completion of the RATING

COURSE, the student receives the AIR TRAFFIC

CONTROL TRAINEE LICENSE.

The ADI (Aerodrome Instrumental) rating is

applicable for students who intend to apply

at an airport control tower. The duration of the

course is approx. 9 weeks that manly consist of

tower simulation, where normal procedures and

emergency situations are practiced.

The APS (Approach Surveillance) rating is applicable

for students who intend to apply to units that provide

air traffic service in terminal areas, with the aid of a

radar. The duration of the course is approx. 11 weeks.

The course consists mainly of radar training, and

specific approach techniques and procedures used

in the approach control environment. Emergency

situations are also practiced.

The ACS (Area Control Surveillance) rating is

applicable for students who intend to apply to units

that provide air traffic service for the en-route phase

of the flight. The duration of the course is approx.

10 weeks. The course consists mainly of radar

training, and specific area control techniques and

procedures used in the area control environment.

Emergency situations are also practiced.
