• All charges are at Oracle’s list price based on metered usage.

• Your account is active until it’s terminated.

• Anything billed in arrears is based on the payment terms in the agreement.

Prepaid Subscriptions• The service period is usually for 12 months unless otherwise specified in the

agreement. The 12-month period begins on the day that you receive your user loginname and password, unless otherwise specified in the agreement.

• All charges are based on metered usage at the applicable discount rate.

• The prepaid amount is designated towards a base subscription service and theoptions available for that service, for example, all Database services

• The prepaid amount must be used before the end of the service period. Anyunused prepaid amount expires at the end of the service period and is forfeited atthat time.

• The prepaid subscription balance is decremented on a monthly basis based on theprior month's usage, at the rates defined in the agreement.

• Any services used after the entire prepaid amount is consumed are charged basedon Oracle’s list price.

Standard Subscriptions• The term is 1 to 3 years, based on your selection during service ordering through

Oracle Store or an Oracle Sales representative.

• You agree to purchase a specific unit of a service, for example, 500 hosted namedusers.

• You're charged for service regardless of whether any services are consumed, forexample, even if only 1 hosted named user is set up, you're charged for 500 hostednamed users if that's the original agreement.

• You can manage your user quota and have overages in service usage. Quotamanagement allows you to set a specific overage ceiling amount. When thisamount is reached, your services are stopped. During service ordering, by default, overages are allowed. Services will be continued after the prepaid amount has beenconsumed, but you're charged at the list price.

GlossaryOCPU per Month (Calendar Month) or per Hour: The number of Oracle ComputeUnit (OCPU) hours used as part of Oracle Compute Cloud Service. An OCPUprovides the CPU capacity equivalent to one physical core of an Intel Xeon processorwith hyperthreading enabled. Each OCPU corresponds to two hardware executionthreads, known as vCPUs. Each OCPU has a predefined amount of memory. OracleCompute Cloud Service supports two kinds of shapes for virtual machines: GeneralPurpose and High Memory. High Memory shapes have more memory associated withan OCPU than the General Purpose shapes.

Hosted Named User per Month: An individual authorized to access the hostedservice in a calendar month, regardless of whether the individual is actively accessingthe hosted service at any given time.

Interactions per Month: A request initiated from the client browser delivering up to100K of data in a calendar month. If a request exceeds 100K, then it counts as multipleinteractions.

Storage Pack per Month: One hundred (100) gigabytes of file storage across all usersper customer in a calendar month.

Gigabyte Storage Capacity per Month: The quantity of computer storage space ingigabytes (1073741824 bytes) used during a month.

Gigabyte Outbound Data Transfer per Month: The quantity of data downloadedfrom any Oracle cloud service and any transfer of data from any Oracle cloud serviceover the Internet, including responses to your client requests during a month.

• $10,000 worth of IaaS services

• $1000 worth of Java services

• A discount rate of 10% on January 1st

• A monthly billing for a prepaid amount of $1750.00

The provisioning of Oracle Database Cloud Service and IaaS is completed on January2nd, but Java isn’t provisioned until January 5th.
