Importance of the study

• Due to the repetition of power outages in Egypt. So It is necessary to search for different energies to provide electricity, As an alternative source of renewable energy in Egypt. Also the fuels like gas and oil will run out and then mankind will either need to come up with a new way to provide power. In the future, solar energy may well be the primary form of energy. This could lead to a clean environment, less money spent on utilities, and a healthier world.

Hypothesis/Questions

• This research aims at identify whether there is a positive relationship between the increasing in power outage and the growing demand of solar power.

• In the future, solar energy may well be the primary form of energy.

• Increased reliance on solar power, may decrease the pollution.

• Why solar power is important in the present?

• Is there a relation ship between the increasing in power outage and the growing demand of solar power.

Objectives

• Determine the electricity interruption in Egypt.

• Identify the importance of solar power in Egypt.

• Compare and contrast solar power and traditional energy using environmental variables.

total installed capacity of pv at the global level

Solar PV

• By December 2010, global installed capacity for PV had reached around 40 GW4 of

• which 85% grid connected and remaining 15% off-grid (REN21, 2010). This market is currently

• dominated by crystalline silicon-based PV cells, which accounted for more than 80% of the

• market in 2010. The remainder of the market almost entirely consists of thin film technologies

• that use cells made by directly depositing a photovoltaic layer on a supporting substrate

importance of solar power

• Sustainable solar energy, which is also renewable energy ie they are not enforced, they are a natural source of energy of the sun shining in Egypt rate of 310 days per year, the rate of solar radiation is up to 700m-2000 K watt per year

• For solar energy will subsequently requires a lot of maintenance work, where they will be installing solar panels or docks once

The cost of solar energy and the cost of power Stations

• Cost of solar cells by qualitative Prices start from $ 20 to $ 800 depending on size and ability

• The cost of power Stations starting from $ 300 to $ 1,500 depending on the size and capacity

Keywords

• Electricity in Egypt.

• repetition of electricity.

• renewable energy.

• Solar power.

• Environmental variables.
