This event is free to Inclusion North member areas.Each area can send 5 people.

Newcastle Event

We are hosting this with the North East Learning DisabilityPartnership.

The event is free for up to 5 reps from the Learning DisabilityPartnership member groups across the North East.

People from non member groups can attend either ofthese events at a cost of £50 per person if places areavailable.

  The Tipping Point - The human and economic costs ofcutting disabled people's support

 A new report published exposes how the Government’s welfarecuts are hitting disabled people hardest.

This report has was produced by Hardest Hit who are acoalition of over 90 disabled people’s organisations andcharities.

It brings together a survey of over 4,500 disabled people, a pollof more than 350 independent welfare advisors, and more than

50 in-depth interviews with disabled people with varyingconditions and impairments.

Criminal Justice Image Collection from CHANGE

CHANGE’s Specialist Criminal Justice Image Collection wasproduced by working with the Courts, Police, Prisons andProbation Services and contains 550 illustrations on the topicsof being arrested, going to court, going to prison and comingout on licence. These images can be used to support

vulnerable people going through the Criminal Justice systemeither as a witness or as a defendant and the professionalswho work with them. The collection can also be used tosupport parents who are going through child protectionproceedings to understand what happens in court.

This new project aims to bridge this gap by setting up anagency with 3 full time co-ordinators in Wigan to give small
