It is the responsibility of the client to monitor their health before, during and after their holiday and abide by Italian National and Regional health regulations while in Italy such as social distancing, using face masked where applicable, hand washing and/or sanitizing, avoid crowded places and are aware of the WHO Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) advice for the public. Bikes are properly sanitized before they are delivered to clients. On group tours, all our guides are trained appropriately and will implement the protocols should a guest or staff show symptoms during a trip. Transfers abide by the social distancing regulations required at the time of travel.

ANTI COVID-19 GUIDELINES Fundamentally cycling, being outdoors and naturally socially distanced, is inherently safer than so many other types of activities and modes of travel right now. We plan to further reduce risk by being smart and modifying our operations. We provided self guided and those trips are all private, so this will the strongly suggested way to travel for this fall and in 2021 Also we offer guided tour – for this summer we are capping our tours with a maximum group size of 4-8 guests We will opt the outdoor spaces as much as possible. We will make available hand sanitizers for our customers, in the van, at bike fitting meeting and during any guided day trip or tour. Prepared Trip Leaders Our offices are staffed for emergencies, and we'll be there to provide support for you and our field team when needed. Our Trip Leaders , will have a protocol to follow in case of any health issues. A new training program for our Trip Leaders will set them up to support you as we travel in these unusual times. They'll be proactive communicators and prepared to manage logistics around any adjustments needed during your trip. In case of withdrawal from the travel agreement, the traveller is always required to pay the management fee for the file, equal to € 30 per person. The day of cancellation is excluded, and instead the day of departure is included. 1) Activities are definitively confirmed after the payment of the entire fee, which also includes a deposit of € 10. 2) In case of cancellation, even at the last moment, of the descent because of adverse water conditions (flood or drought), T-rafting can propose an alternative descent. Our motto is “Blue Tracks in Tuscany”! On the water, in the water or near the water is our leitmotiv. We are also a company of hiking and environmental guides with many different (an special!) activities: 1) Rafting - we are an itinerant company that designs and selects the best rafting routes in Tuscany, with the goal of creating unique, adventurous and distinctive routes – of natural, historical and cultural interest – covering more than 100 km and 6 rivers, throughout the provinces of Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Grosseto and Lucca. 2) Packrafting - the same itineraries that we do by raft can also be done by packraft, but we also like to use the packrafs in their “native” way: we will cross land and water during the same excursion thanks to their extreme portability. With this approach in mind we also designed many itineraries along the wonderful coasts of Tuscany. 3) Footbiking - a footbike is a kick scooter for adults: with bike wheels, V-breaks and ergonomic frames that will allow you to feel like a grown child. Movement on a footbike feels much more natural than on a normal bike and in the adult version becomes an incredibly easy and fun way to discover the world. Valdelsa (in the Chianti area) and Florence are our preferred playgrounds. 4) Swimtrekking: this combines hiking and snorkeling during the same excursion: it entails swimming along the coast with a mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit, while towing an especially designed backpack, and hiking while wearing the same backpack, as one would do with a normal rucksack. We are proud to have designed this equipment for swimtrekking! 5) SUP and SOT kayaking: this equipment is used in water with exploration and discovery in mind. SUP: provides a different perspective and better view of the water world. SOT: stable kayaks with no re-entry problems should the craft capsize. Ideal for beginners! These equipments are the ideal means for exploring inland and coastal waters. 6) Armadilling - we required a new piece of equipment that did not exist on the market, something to transport, with ease, a heavy load on all types of terrain. Hence, we created our Armadillo, which can be transformed into a man hauled cart, a rickshaw-style cart, a man-pulled sledge (pulka), a small towable boat, a bike cart, or even a backpack. It is now possible to walk along shores and bring everything we need, without the worry of having to carry a heavy rucksack: from dry clothes and a bottle of fine Chianti wine, to photographic equipment, or even a small library.

There are three main areas of concern for viral transmission (all related to being in a confined space with others for a duration of hours) and here are our solutions for our tours for the season 2020:
1) No Van transfers –most of our itineraries starts and ends at the same location. Folks from the same household can drive their own cars to the meeting location. For tours point-to-point the van provides support and transports the luggage.
2) No Indoor Dining – Since you cannot wear a mask and eat, we'd like to do all group dining outside and spaced out - under heat lamps as warranted. As appropriate, we will also allow you to modify dining as your risk tolerance allows: getting room-service, take-out or dining on your own in smaller groups.
3) Half-Off Single Supplements – Sharing rooms with someone outside your household is not advised for now. We're able to offer subsidized single supplements for people - half the normal

fee plus any non-refundable costs incurred (such as museum tickets and other services charges). In alternative we offer the following options with 10% re-booking fee:
- moving the tour on another day (to be agreed) - take a voucher for the tour that is transferable to a third party - joining an alternative activity of equivalent value In the case of cancellation between 30 and 15 days prior to departure, cancellation fee is 40% or
20% re-booking fee (as mentioned above). In the case of cancellation within 14 days prior to departure or no-show, 100% of the tour price/service fee will be forfeited.

Considering the fast-changing situation about COVID-19 at global level, DMC Montepisano in Toscana would apply cancellation policy on a case by case basis, offering credits or no cancellation penalties if the travel is cancelled for COVID-19 reasons. CANCELLATION POLICY
We have adapted our 2020 and 2021 booking and cancellation terms to provide more flexible options to travelers evaluating or needing to change a tour or departure due to COVID-19 safety or travel restrictions. Specifically, we have lowered the reservation payment amount and made final payment due closer to departure date; if cancellation is necessary, we offer full credit for future use, without fees; this credit is valid for two years with the possibility of extension, and can also be transferred to another traveler.
SAFE STANDARD
Mitigating COVID-19 exposure on self-guided tours, guided tours and rental services for Cycle Europe: Based on emerging government and health decrees, Cycle Europe will be putting in place several practices to ensure staff and guests are protected as much as possible from contracting COVID-19 while traveling. Bicycling inherently promotes social distancing, and self-guided bicycling more so. We will make sure guests are informed of local regional regulations (such as wearing face coverings unless doing sports activities when outside which is currently required in some regions) and sign health waivers acknowledging they agree to monitor their health during the holiday and abide by health regulations such as hand sanitizing and washing and social distancing. Equipment will be properly sanitized before and, if necessary, during the holiday. We are ensuring that third party suppliers such as hotels, restaurants and activity providers are abiding by health regulations. All staff and guides will be appropriately trained, and we are implementing implemented protocols to follow if guests or staff show symptoms during or after travel with us. Group shuttles will be replaced with private shuttles or transfers for arrival and departure logistics from the holiday. Group transfers during the holiday will be minimized, and if any are required, we will abide by social distancing rules by diminishing capacity in 9 passenger vans than previously allowed. Detailed operational procedures are in place to make sure the following aspects of bicycle travel are safe and comprehensive and abide by sanitization recommendations: briefings, support on the road (filling water bottles, providing snacks, shuttling tired cyclists), loading and storing bicycles, meal preparation, meals together, picture/photo taking, optional activities like cultural visits, etc. Overall, we will be encouraging small group travel and family travel so that fewer people travel together or people mostly travel with people they know rather than having large groups

CANCELLATION POLICY
Any cancellation requested more than 30 days prior to departure, will result in 20% cancellation fee plus any non-refundable costs incurred (such as museum tickets and other services charges). In alternative we offer the following options with 10% re-booking fee:
moving the tour on another day (to be agreed, space permitting); take a voucher for the tour that is transferable to a third party; joining an alternative activity of equivalent value;
In the case of cancellation between 30 and 15 days prior to departure, cancellation fee is 40% or 20% re-booking fee (as mentioned above). In the case of cancellation within 14 days prior to departure or no-show, 100% of the tour price/service fee will be forfeited. You can get a full refund in case of cancellation by us or yours due to the Covid-19 emergency, in relation to our experiences. Cancellations must be requested via email.
