V. Mosby Company a plaque commemorating its half-century of service as lhe official publisher of the AMERICU JOURS~IL OF ORTHODONTICS. The scroll, which read “The am&can Association of Orthodontists prcsent,s to The C. 1’. Josby Corn- pany, this testimonial on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the LUI- interrupted publication of its official journal, THE AMERICAN JOURNAL OF ORTHODONTICS, and in recognition of their outstanding service t,o the American Association of Orthodontists,” was accepted in the name of t,he Company by Vice-President Leonard Batterson and by John C. Mosby Jr., Advertising Sales Manager. The remarkable association between the American Association of Orthodon- tist,s and its publisher is all the more unusual in that. the copyright for the JOURNAL has always been owned by The C. V. Mosbp Company which, through written agreement, has readily permitt,ed the Sssociation to control all facets of its publication. The JOURNAL, the oldest of the twelve publications owned by The C. V. Mosby Company, has been kept dignified and consistently modern in all respects through cooperative efforts, imagination, and forward thinking.
