Below are the latest courses we are running. JANUARY Presentation Skills Thursday 29th January, 5.30pm – 7.30pm This Presentation Skills Training Workshop will support each participant in understanding how to be effective in applying key principles in order to deliver a confident presentation to any audience. FEBRUARY Effective Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects Tuesday 3rd February, 5.30pm – 7.30pm Have you applied for funding? Show your impact! With this course you can strengthen your skills in supporting the monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes. Managing your Money (will be held in Stretford) Wednesday 25th February, 1pm – 3pm This training will guide you through making the most out of your money by maximising your income and reducing your bills. MARCH Health and Safety (Accredited Level 2) Thursday 5th March, 10am – 3pm Do you run sessions or hold events? This course will give you up to date knowledge on health and safety, manual handling, risk assessments, knowledge on hazardous substances and record keeping. Card Making Tuesday 17th March, 6pm – 8pm Come along to our card making session and make some cards just in time for Easter. Managing your Money (will be held in Sale) Wednesday 25th March, 1pm – 3pm This training will guide you through making the most out of your money by maximising your income and reducing your bills. APRIL Treasurers Training Tuesday 14th April, 10.30am – 12 noon If you are or intend to become a treasurer, this course will teach you everything you need to know including how to keep a record of your income and outgoings and how to balance your books. Budgeting Skills (will be held in Sale) Wednesday 22nd April, 10am – 12 noon This training course will provide you with knowledge and skills on how to manage your money effectively on a limited income. How to do Risk Assessments (Accredited Level 2) Tuesday 28th April, 10am – 3pm Do you run events? Are you confident in completing risk assessments? Most courses are held at: Sale Point, 126-150 Washway Road, M33 6AG. The course venue will be confirmed on booking.

Please note, all courses are subject to change or cancellation at our discretion. A small charge may apply to individuals who are not tenants or leaseholders. Taxis are only available to tenants who have a disability or mobility issue or who find public transport impractical.

Arts and Crafts (5 week course)Every Wednesday from 29th April – 27th May, 6pm – 8pm 22nd April at 5.30pm *subject to number of attendees, enrolment required on Wednesday Get crafty and brighten up your garden and outdoor space this Spring. We will be using materials from your garden to upcycle and create decorative plant pots, garden mobiles, tea light holders and outdoor mosaic patterns.

MAYIT (5 week course) Every Thursday from 7th May – 4th June, 6pm – 8pm *subject to number of attendees, enrolment required on Thursday 30th April at 5.30pm This course will cover the main parts of the computer, saving and filing work safely, using the internet, setting up and using email and basic word processing.

First Aid (Accredited Level 2) Thursday 14th May, 10am – 3pmDo you know what to do in an emergency? This accredited course will give you the knowledge and skills you need to help someone in an emergency situation.

Budgeting Skills (will be held in Stretford)Wednesday 20th May, 1pm – 3pmThis training course will provide you with knowledge and skills on how to manage your money effectively on a limited income.

Sign Language Thursday 21st May, 6pm – 8pmThis training will provide you with basic knowledge and skills to be able to sign and read sign language.

JUNEFood Hygiene (Accredited Level 2)Tuesday 2nd June, 10am – 3pmIs your kitchen safe? Is your food safe? Do you know about bacteria in food and how it is created? This accredited course will teach you all you need to know about food handling and hygiene.

Employability Skills Session 1 – Wednesday 17th June, 9am – 3pm Session 2 – Thursday 18th June, 9am – 3pmAre you looking to get back into work? This course will identify your employability skills, identify your strengths and transferable skills, develop group and teamwork skills and improve your communication and presentation skills.
