Mahatma Mandir is a convention center and a memorial located at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. It is inspired from life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi. It is one of the biggest convention center of India spread over 34 acres.

Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is located in Gandhinagar, capital city of Gujarat. PERI was awarded to supply slab formwork for 3 hostel buildings situated inside PDPU.

The requirement from client was to achieve 7 days cycle time with MULTIFLEX Slab Formwork. To achieve this PERI gave unique solution of early striking arrangement with MULTIFLEX for the first time in India.

With comprehensive site support from PERI, client was able to complete the project before schedule. MULTIFLEX can be adapted to suit any ground plan and it stands for economical working operations for all requirements.

SCS serves as a load-bearing structure for supporting single-sided, non-tied or double-sided, anchored wall formwork. This project is world headquarters of Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) located in Gurgaon. REC is a NAVRATNA Central Public Sector Enterprise under Ministry of Power. Its main objective is to finance and promote rural electrification projects all over the country.

Altair is a luxury apartment building designed by celebrity architect Mr. Moshe Safdie and developed by Sureka Group. Shapoorji & Pallonji is the main contractor for this project. ACS variants. ACS solution is provided in such a way that inner core and outer core can be constructed independently as well as simultaneously.

PERI supplied 14 ACS R units, 4 ACS G units and 7 ACS P units and synchro-nized all 6 ACS units of inner core so they all can be lifted in one go along with placing boom.

LIWA, a lightweight system has been developed to suit a man handled application. Only 5 panel widths, a simple corner solution and reduced accessories accelerate work and simplify material planning and stocking. The wall panels can also be assembled into a column box in a wind-mill configuration.

SKYDECK allows fast as well as safe forming operations with a systematic assembly sequence. The low weight, compact dimensions and design of the system components facilitate non-tiring and ergonomic working operations.

LIWA and SKYDECK

Inclined walls (7 degrees inclination) was successfully constructed with 6 units of RCS Rail Climbing System which is the most critical part of inclined building. Special RCS edge protection with 3 working platforms were designed to carry out heavy steel works at the periphery and give protection to labors working at any height. RCS edge protection was hydraulically lifted in inclined position.

SKYDECK Panel Slab Formwork was used to cast 20 cm thick slab. The drophead system allowed early striking thus reducing on site material require-ments. LIWA lightweight Panel Formwork System was also supplied for casting of shear walls and columns. Total four hanging stair towers were provided for access purpose covering 5 floors to keep pace with construction progress.

The project and customer-oriented engineering performance led to optimally-adapted formwork and scaffolding utilization.

ALPHAKIT is a lighter, crane independent pre- assembly system which can be used for shoring, formwork, tunnels and bridge engineering. It can be assembled quickly even without crane due to less component having less weight. It ensures higher level of safety at site.

CEPT University was established in 1962, offering programs for Architecture, Design, Planning and Construction Technology. CEPT university is one of the renowed universities in India which offers 5 years undergraduate program in Construction Technology.

The 2nd Symposium and Exhibition “Occupational Safety and Health in the Construction Industry – Start-ing from the Problem to find a practical Solution” an event organized by the Department of Labour Government of Maharashtra and the German Social Accident Insurance was held on 19th November, 2015.
