Our Trainers instill real-world tested techniques that ensure you will always effectively respond to any challenging situation, while always remaining in control of the presentation.

We will provide you with the tools to achieve your goals: an exceptional presentation that resonates with your audience, and more importantly, is acted upon.

What Will I Take Back to My Workplace? Understand the impact that your communication skills have on other people and, ultimately, on your own success. Improve your skills in prioritizing and tailoring your message points for your audience. Identify and reduce the use of technical jargon for maximum impact. Class Size Maximum of 12 participants Locations Offices: North America: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montreal, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Washington DC and San Juan. South America: Buenos Aires, Santiago, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. Europe: Berlin, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Milan and Paris. Asia: Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

Course Overview:

If you're a technical professional, you take understandable pride in your expertise; however, problems often develop when you attempt to communicate your expertise to others who are not at the same level of your expertise. The overuse of “tech-speak” is a common pitfall among those who are required to present their message to non-technical audiences. The result is presentations that are simply unclear to these audiences. In this course, you will acquire the skills to create PowerPoint decks that stay on message and ensure that your presentation is not only heard, but acted upon. You will acquire the skills to effectively communicate technical content to technically-challenged individuals. This will be accomplished without watering down the overall message or glossing over crucial details. At the completion of your course, whether you are required to present virtually or in front of groups, Illuminata Global will equip you with the tools and confidence that ensure you will excel in your next presentation.

Course Outline: We say mind your “PDQs.” By that, we refer to the three equally important areas that must be addressed in order to become an effective presenter: (1) Preparation; (2) Delivery; and (3) Questions. (1) Preparation: Develop the content of your presentation by using Illuminata Global's "Content Roadmap." (2) Delivery: Acquire the skills to create and deliver effective graphs, diagrams, charts and visuals. Acquire the skills to help your audience visualize your message by the effective use of your body language. Through the use of a clear, confident and robust voice, convey confidence and credibility in your message. (3) Questions: Without being evasive, returning hostility or losing control of the discussion, acquire the skills to effectively handle hostile questions.

Creating Clear and Concise Power Point Decks

Illuminata Global, LLC.

45 Rockefeller Plaza at 630 Fifth Avenue, 20th Floor

New York, NY 10111

What Will I Take Back to My Workplace? The ability to create effective visuals. The skills to create Power Point presentations with logical slide transitions. Prioritize and tailor your message points for your audience. Class Size Maximum of 35 participants Locations Offices: North America: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montreal, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Washington DC and San Juan. South America: Buenos Aires, Santiago, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. Europe: Berlin, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Milan and Paris. Asia: Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

Course Overview:

Good Power Point decks speak for themselves and require little or no description. In this course, you will acquire the skills to create Power Point decks which are precise, concise, and, above all else, understandable to your audience. Too often, we fall into a pattern of jargon, clichés, and "business speak." The result is Power Point slides that are simply unclear. Often slides are jumbled and verbose, resulting in their making little or no sense to the audience. In this course, you will acquire the skills to create Power Point decks that stay on message and ensure that your presentation is not only heard, but acted upon.

Preparation is the key to a well-received presentation. Before beginning to construct a deck, it is imperative to know your audiences’ expectations. We, at Illuminata Global, will provide you with the skills to master this element, saving time, lessening the number of drafts, and establishing a clear message.

Course Outline:

· Using the Illuminata Content Roadmap, create clear and concise Power Point decks.

· Create effective visuals: charts, graphs and tables.

· Ensure a logical slide transition.

· Effectively weave a compelling storyline.

· Improve your skills in prioritizing and tailoring your message points to your audience.

· For maximum impact, identify and reduce the use of technical jargon.

· Acquire the skills to use effective syntax, vocabulary, grammar, and structure.

Master Story Telling

Illuminata Global, LLC. 45 Rockefeller Plaza at 630 Fifth Avenue, 20th Floor

New York, NY 10111

What Will I Take Back to My Workplace? Acquire the skills to feel-at-ease while telling a story. Instill credibility and authenticity, in your message and yourself. Gain the confidence of your audience, regardless of the content of your message. Class Size Maximum of 12 participants Locations Offices: North America: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montreal, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Washington DC and San Juan. South America: Buenos Aires, Santiago, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. Europe: Berlin, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Milan and Paris. Asia: Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

Course Overview:

Story Telling is a skill that is not easily acquired. Before they begin their presentation, presenters often feel ill-at-ease when telling a story. A story cannot be forced. It must come naturally to the presenter. Being comfortable in Storytelling takes time, energy, and self-confidence. Choosing the right story, for the right venue, is critical. Your choice of story says a lot about you. Your story establishes your authenticity, which in turn forges trust with your audience. If your audience trusts you, they are far more likely to be moved into action by your message. With the insight of an experienced IG trainer, you will select, develop, and deliver an authentic, compelling, and engaging story. The late Tim Russert, moderator of “Meet The Press”, began each of his presentations with stories about his father, a plumber, “the smartest man he had ever met.” Why did he choose to tell stories about his father, the plumber? One simple answer: he immediately established authenticity and therefore credibility with his audience. What he conveyed was, “I am not arrogant. My beginnings were humble.” Under the direction of a Senior Illuminata Global (IG) trainer, you will acquire the skills to be an effective Storyteller who immediately gains the confidence of your audience.

Course Outline: Discover Your Personal Story: Discover your personal story and incorporate it into your presentation. Convey Passion: If that passion is genuine, it will catapult you over every obstacle in your path. Communicate with Authenticity: Acquire the skills to communicate with authenticity while telling your story. Where integrity is critical, effective body language, posture and personal presence are essential in order to instil confidence and credibility in yourself and your message. Create a Compelling Human Connection: Use your own unique story to create a compelling human connection with your audience. Project Personal Authority: Receive feedback and insight from a Senior IG Trainer, enhancing your projection of personal authority and authenticity. This preparation will ensure that you will become a Master Storyteller.

Are you looking for a customized training program which is built around your unique needs and goals? If so, Illuminata Global’s (IG’s) Accent Reduction course will help you to acquire the skills to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner in any business situation. Our customized one-on-one and small group Accent Reduction course is designed to help non-native American English speakers tackle American Business English. Our Accent Reduction course is taught by experienced IG’s, linguistic experts. Utilizing standard American Business English, regardless of your native language, you will acquire the skills to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner. Our Accent Reduction course is designed to accommodate your schedule. Our course will be conducted at your location, or at one of IG’s offices, during and/or after business hours.

Course Outline:

In our Accent Reduction course, you will acquire the skills to use your mouth, teeth, and tongue to form vowel and consonant sounds. Modifying your intonation and stress patterns will enable you to communicate in a clear and concise manner. IG‘s methodology involves a comprehensive individual analysis, identifying deviations in your current speech such as pronunciation, rate of speech, speech patterns, and detrimental speech habits. Our sessions offer individualized one-on-one instruction. Using existing sound patterns, we provide intense oral motor improvement methods for specific English sound production. While practicing the verbiage pertinent to your specific area of expertise, we incorporate these verbalizations into your vocabulary. Understanding that we are establishing new patterns of oral motor behaviors (breaking old habits and creating new, improved ones) is why our Accent Reduction training is intense, concentrated and specifically designed to meet your individual needs.

What Will I Take Back to My Workplace? Understand the impact that your writing skills have on other people and, ultimately, on your own success. The skills to prioritize and tailor your message points for your reader. The skills to use effective syntax, vocabulary, grammar, and structure. Class Size Maximum of 35 participants Duration of course: One -day course Locations Offices: North America: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Montreal, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Washington DC and San Juan. South America: Buenos Aires, Santiago, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte. Europe: Berlin, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Milan and Paris. Asia: Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

Course Overview:

Business writing is often the most difficult of all business communications. Poor business writing may result in the thwarting of business. Simple grammatical and structural errors have the potential to destroy your communications and create a lack of confidence in your message. Well-written business communication will facilitate whatever action you are requesting of the reader. A surprising number of professionals, who may otherwise be savvy communicators, are critically deficient in this increasingly important skill. Fortunately, Illuminata Global's one-day business writing workshop will achieve dramatic results. Participants will acquire the skills to translate their ideas into a clearer and more immediate composition. Participants will acquire the skills to recognize and avoid the most common mistakes in business writing. This will save time, create the desired impact, and strengthen their ability to communicate in a dynamic and professional manner.

Course Outline: Preparation: This is the key to well-written business communications. Our course will concentrate on acquiring the skills to fully prepare you before you begin to write. Once this skill is mastered, you will undoubtedly save time in your writing, require fewer drafts and hone your message to its essence. Writing: Clear and effective writing reflects clear and effective thinking. Too often, business writers fall into a pattern of using jargon and clichés. The result is writing that is simply unclear. Our goal is to put clarity into your writing. We will concentrate on the use of effective words, phrases, syntax, vocabulary, grammar and structure that will promote action on the part of the reader. Post Script:

Too often business-written communications are sent out with grammatical and spelling errors that your "spell check" never catches. We will show you how you can avoid such mistakes by the use of an efficient system for proofreading.
