About IILM IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Lucknow was established in the year 2004 under
the aegis of the Ram Krishan & Sons Charitable Trust, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The
Trust is running various management institutions with the acronym IILM in different
parts of the country with campuses in Lucknow, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Greater Noida,
and Jaipur. Over the years, the Institute and its founders have successfully fulfilled the
extensive objective of propagating quality professional education and have made
IILM a National Brand.
The Lucknow Campus of the institute offers two years full time Post Graduate
Diploma in Management (PGDM), which is approved by the AICTE, Ministry of
Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management is designed with a view to fulfill the dynamic requirement of the industry from management graduates. The
curriculum incorporates practical learning, on-the-job-training and global case studies for developing a strategic orientation so that the budding managers can
face the challenges of the volatile corporate world.
Our PGDM curriculum has been designed and is continuously updated with careful review of its impact on students' learning and industry's requirements. Our
balanced pedagogic approach from classroom teaching to non-classroom learning equips the students with strong conceptual knowledge and skills, which help
them to meet industry's expectations from management graduates.
The emphasis in a professional programme is on the development of analytical mental processes through self- learning, facilitated by subject and industry
experts. The faculty members use a blend of pedagogic approaches to ensure the internalization of knowledge rather than its mere acquisition. A well balanced
weightage is assigned to classroom interaction, experiential learning, co-curricular activities and extra-curricular events for the development of the right
attitude, skills and knowledge. Key features of the pedagogy are:

The PGDM Programme
Summer Internship
After the completion of first year of the Programme, students in the month of May and June undertake two months summer internship in their preferred area of spec ia l i za t i on i n any co rpo ra te organization. The objective of summer internship is to help students relate the concepts learned in class with practice in real life situations, make them aware of business practices and instill a sense of discipline in them. It is a mandatory training for all students and is equivalent to two full courses.
IILM offers a series of workshops in every term in order to supplement classroom teaching and enhance the skills of the students. Most employers focus on soft skills and interpersonal skills like working in teams as much as the technical and hard skills. Through these workshops IILM prepares the students for achieving success in the professional/corporate world.

with industry experts and help them to develop a better understanding of real
life business situations. These activities not only strengthen our relationship

Living and Learning at IILM is a memorable experience. It is not enough to say that students find IILM campus a home away from home, as campus life for the students of IILM is definitely a lot more. It is an involved experience, the essence of which becomes a happy memory for the students in their later life. Sports, games, music and fests are a part of the routine.
A typical day at IILM begins with an interaction with friends and classmates. During the course of the day students are exposed to a diverse set of management subjects that give them insights into the management world. The 75 minute sessions are a blend of academic concepts and real life case studies. A series of activities like Business Quiz, Poster making competition, Rangoli making, Jhanki making and many more activities are organized from time to time to ensure the overall development of the students. Apart from serving as a platform to express themselves these activities help the students in “out of box” thinking to solve diverse business situation.

There are various student clubs formed with the objective of 360 degree development of the students. These clubs empower students with creative, innovative and talent nurturing activities which contribute towards knowledge creation, sharing, learning and continuous development. The clubs also provide a real-life learning experience for the students as they are solely responsible for the planning, funding, organizing, public relations, scheduling and monitoring of the activities of the club.

The Academic Club provide an intellectual learning platform to the students. The Club organises several activities such as Creative Writing, Debates, Student Seminars, Business Quiz, Management Games, Group Discussions, Presentations, etc. Academic club of IILM is further divided into Finance & Marketing Club.
The Cultural Club fosters creativity and enhances event organizing skills of the students while providing them an opportunity to display their latent talents. The Club organizes creative activities such as Skit/Drama, dance shows, singing, rangoli, face painting, mehndi, collage making etc.
The Sports Club endeavours to develop the skills of leadership, team building and event management and also a spirit of healthy competition. It also gives an avenue to all students to maintain their overall health and fitness. The Club organizes sports activities on a regular basis, both at intra and inter-instituional levels, covering a wide gamut of indoor and outdoor games like table tennis, chess, cricket, badminton, tug of war etc.

To foster the academic, personal and professional growth and development of the students, the institute has a well developed and structured Mentorship Programme wherein intensive one-to-one interaction between the faculty mentor and student mentee results in strengths-weaknesses identification and formulation of customized plans for overall development of the student.
The students at IILM organise various events and activities from time to time which not only breaks the monotony and pressure of academics and placement but also provides them a platform to participate and exhibit their manager ia l & leadersh ip competency. These events also provide them the stage to celebrate & showcase their talent, hobbies and interest. IILM attracts some of the best recruiters from India. The Industry Engagement cell facilitates excellent placements as well as desired career shifts. Our placement team comprising of dedicated and trained professionals develop and maintain relationships with recruiters. They initiate the process of matching available positions in industry with the talent available from the student pool at IILM.

The Institute offers attractive merit-cum-means scholarship to student based on their academic performance and financial needs. Decision of the Management with regard to grant of scholarship will be final.

Admission Process
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent (under 10+2+3 system) in any discipline, with at least 50% marks, from a University recognized by UGC/AIU/AICTE. Candidates in the final year are also eligible, provided they furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria before the commencement of first term examination.A valid score in any of the management admission tests namely CAT /MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ JMET/ Any other management entrance test score recognized by AICTE.
Step 1 : Obtain Application Form from Institute or College Website.Step 2 : Submit the duly filled form along with all the required
documents.Step 3: Appear in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.Step 4: If short listed, offer letter will be issued and dispatched
through courier and e-mail Step 5: Deposit the first installment of your fees.
üFinal selection of candidates in the PGDM Programme will be based on a careful evaluation of the applicant's academic record, work experience, entrance test score, group discussion and personal interview score.
üIneligible candidates are liable to be rejected at any stage of the admission procedure and in all matters of admission, the decision of the Admission Committee shall be final and binding.
üFee refund policy is as per the guidelines laid down by the AICTE.
