According to God’s Word, being part of a church family is important. The selection of a Bible teaching, Christ-centered church home is vital to spiritual growth. Our mission as a church is to be a people who increas-ingly know and love Jesus Christ and from joy in Him are continually seeking to make Him known until He comes again. We invite you to be part of our church family and experience the love of Christ through His people.

How Do I Join? At the close of each worship service, the Pastor will extend an “invitation” for anyone who would like to trust Christ for salvation, become part of our church family, or make any other spiritual decision. Simply walk to him and he or another counselor will assist you with your decision.

MEN’S ONE-DAY CONFERENCE Attention Men! We are planning to attend the Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Equipping Confer-ence on Saturday, June 7, 8:30AM-4:55PM in Lakeland. This conference is suitable for all men, ages 13-99 and will include sessions like: Managing Finances God's Way for Financial Health, Freedom, Peace and Joy; Winning Muslims for Christ; Passing on a Godly Legacy to the Next Generation; Who's Got Your Back? Why Going It Alone, Is A Formula For Disaster, and many more. The cost is $59 per man, but if we register together early, we will receive a significant dis-count. GIRL TALK COMEDY CONCERT Ladies, join us for a fun Girls Night Out to see comedienne Chonda Pierce at Victory Church in Lakeland on Saturday, June 7 at 7pm. Tickets are $24 per person, but we will get a discount if we have a group of 10 or more. Please sign up in the Welcome Center if you would like to attend. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2014 The theme of this year’s Vacation Bible School is Agency D3: Discover, Decide, De-fend. Our theme verse is 1 Peter 3:15: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meek-ness and fear. While investigating at Agency D3, kids will collect and log evidence about the life of Jesus. As special agents, they will examine eyewitness reports, physical proof, and biblical accounts to uncover and defend the truth about who Jesus really is. VBS will be Monday-Friday, June 16-20, 6PM-9PM. RENT-A-STUDENT FUNDRAISER Start making plans for how our students can help you! They will be offering their services (cleaning, yard work, etc.) to help raise funds for future activities like summer camp. Stay after church on June 8 to rent a student and help support our youth!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We need volunteers in Children's Min-istry! Preschool needs five people to work during the Sunday morning ser-vice and help complete a three month rotation. That would mean a single person would only need to serve once every three months. We also need a Children's Sunday School teacher and two assistants. We have a consistent group of children who attend our classes, so we are desperate for teach-ers to lead them. Please see Audra Emrich or call the church office if you are interested in serving the Lord by working with our children.
