Message from the President: Our Educational Conference is just around the corner so if you have not regis- tered you must do it now. Come and experience what our organization is all about and have the unique experience to hear from our International President in person. Please consider running for a Statewide Office. The slate for incoming officers is almost clean so there are many areas you can volunteer to serve in. So, it would be nice to hear from all of you about some tricks and tips that you find helpful. Your ideas will then be shared in our next Newsletter. . Renee Wilmoth, IAWP NY Chapter Communications Reply: Thank you Hope, she wrote: I find that email can be a big distrac- tion and steals precious minutes throughout the day. So to be as productive as possible and avoid this trap. I only check my email 3 times a day. First thing in the morning, right before lunch and one more time before I leave for the day. That way I know I have ad- dressed any concerns or problems in there but I have not let it rob my day of productive work time. “ Renee—I keep several programs open at once, so I don’t have to keep opening programs that I use throughout the daya definite time saver. asset. Our organization continues to

work toward providing our members

with great educational opportunities to

include our annual Educational Confer-

ence.

This year we will offer 10 member

scholarships of $100 toward your regis-

tration to help you attend the educa-

tional conference in Savan-

nah. Attached is an application to apply

that includes the criteria and winner ex-

pectations. All applications must be re-

ceived at the IAWP headquarters no

later than April 6th, at 5pm to be consid-

ered so get yours in early, don’t wait.
