Manage HIM team in a way that older generations are respected for their knowledge whilst younger HIMs are encouraged to offer new perspectives on organisational goals
HIMs must work together to promote themselves as leaders in e-health initiatives in their districts

In Conclusion Expect different HIMs to bring different skill sets, adaptability
and communications styles to the HIM team Recognise that different generations adapt to change in
different ways and model change management programs accordingly to allow for generational differences
Tailor education programs and training methods to different generations based on their experiences to optimise training opportunities
Continually adapt to the changing focus of the profession to ensure that HIMs remain a relevant resource in the health care setting no matter which generation a HIM represents
Roar with Pride Promote the profession Be proud to be a HIM Have a voice in your organisation Embrace change Support HIMS of all generations
