If you have ever watched a Korean Drama before, then you know that Korean people love ‘Love’. They love to buy their signifi cant others’ gifts, go to cafés, fancy dinners and couples’ activities. With Valentine’s Day around the corner and an abundance of Love fi lled things to do, for those of you in love, Korea is the perfect playing ground. Here are some of my favorite things to do with my love.

Top Cloud Grill & Café Top Cloud is a great restaurant with some delicious food and plenty of ambience. I love the fl oor to ceiling windows, the barbequed meats and seafood. They throw in buff et appetizers and salads to begin and fi nish with a buff et of desserts and pastries. Choose from the fi sh-of-the-day, Australian lamb rack or beef tenderloin for your main course. For those of you looking for a fancy dinner, you really can’t go wrong here.

Top Cloud has a group of restaurants under their belt with diff erent cuisines.

Browse through topcloud.co.kr for more information on the menu, prices and address. The website is in Korean and English.

Insadong I have had some amazing times with Mr. Man and with friends at Insadong. I love the quirky stores, the plaza fi lled with crafts, music boxes and jewelry store. On Valentine’s Day, if you haven’t been before, I totally suggest you take your beloved for a stroll down this exciting street. With plenty of cafés and restaurants, Insadong is the perfect place to wander, have some quality time exploring and then fi nishing of the date with some yummy dinner. Don’t miss out on grabbing a cup of ‘Wedding Tea’ from the Ossulloc Tea House from the café upstairs. One of our most favorite green tea drinks on the peninsula!

Dynamic MazeFor you adrenaline junkies, I haven’t forgotten about you all. Also located in the Insadong area, “Dynamic Maze” is a great place to truly test the bonds of your relationship. Don’t have a romantic interest this season? No problemo. Go with a bunch of friends and still have an awesome time. Sign up for a game and work with your friends/partner to escape the Maze. Ladies, I don’t recommend wearing a skirt. This is something you would want to be able to move around freely. At approximately 12,000 KRW per person, there is a bunch of courses to go through as well as missions. This defi nitely brings out the inner child in you, so be prepared for some fun!

Address12, Insa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul-si Inside the Deil Bldg. (B1-B2)You can take the subway there once in Seoul. Head to the Jongno 3-ga Station (Seoul Subway Line 1 & 3 & 5), then take Exit 1. Walk for 310m and take right at Keumkang Store. Continue walking straight until you reach ‘TonyMoly’. The museum will be on your right.

Hibachi at Teppan Jung, CheonanDon’t want to head to Seoul for Valentine’s? Check out Teppan Jung, a hibachi style restaurant in Cheonan. With a variety of surf and turf on each menu, you can choose from one of four dinner menus while you giggle over the spelling of the items on off er. Each menu comes a variety of seafood, beef tenderloin, along with a soup, fried rice and dessert. My tip, if you have never tried it before, give it a shot here. The Teppan chefs here do a good job and the hibachi sear on the meats makes it ALL so yummy. Look towards spending a minimum of KRW 59,000 per person here for dinner.
