Enter your Email
Address here
Click “Get Started”
Click “Continue
with my email”
Asana will ask to verify your email

Fill in your details here

Enter your Team member’s Email

Type in the name of your
project

How to add a Team Member in Asana?

Type Email Address here
Type Name
Click “Send Invite”
After sending an invitation, your team member will receive a
verification email

You will be directed to Asana homepage
Click “Continue” to proceed
Enter your password
Or Sign up with your Google account
Click here to add photo
Select a photo
Click “Open”

How to Create a Project for your Team
Member?
Click the "+" icon
Click “Project”
This windowwill appear
Type your Project Name
Select a Layout
Select Privacy
Click “Create Project”
Your New Project is here
How to Add Task for Team Member's
Project?
On your Dashboard, click "Add Task"
ProjectTask
Task Details
It is now divided into 3 parts
Type task here
I have input a 10 tasks
Select a task then assign it to team member
Task is now assigned to your team member
Click "Due Date"
Select the date of deadline
Click “Done”
Click here to add description
Type your description
Click here to create Subtasks
Type the Subtasks here
"Add a due date to the subtask"
Write a comment here
Click this button if the task is complete
More edit options are available here

How to Start a Conversation within
Asana?
On your dashboard, click Conversations
Type the Subject
Write your message
Click here to "Attach a file"
Select from the given options
Select a file then click Open
Your selected file is uploaded
Click the "@" icon to mention someone
Team member has been mentioned
Click “Post”
You have successfully
created a message to your
team member
Your team member will receive a notification
through email
Click “Calendar” to see your schedule
Click “Progress” to see your status
The colored circles set different meanings
Green means "This project is on track."
Yellow means "This project is progressing but there are some risks worth addressing."
Red means "This project is not on track and needs attention."
After selecting status,
insert your remarks here
Click “Set Status”
Click "Files" to see all the attached documents
