Walk or drive.Walking and cycling is pretty efficient for those short journeys to school or to the shops. Tons and tons of petrol is wasted every year by those tiny journeys to those places. By just cycling or walking you are not only saving yourself money by not using petrol but your also saving the planet and reducing global warming.
At home Your computer should be turned off at the source and shut down. Next you can simply turn off switches or lights that arent in use.
What is global warming.What happens is green house gases heat the earths surface and this is melting the Antartic causing the sea to rise and soon if we dont act fast the sea will rise too much and the earth will get too hot and everyone will have little chance of living.
Recycling We all have green bins at home and paper bins in school. All you have to do is when you are finished with something and are ready to throw it out all you have to do is put it into the correct bin. Its so easy but it can make a huge difference to our planet.
How global warming happensFirst of all the reason that this has all happened is because people are cutting down rainforest which give us oxygen and absorb co2.There has always been co2 in the air and it hasnt been a problem up to now but now there is too much co2 is being released into our planet because of cars and planes.

They rely on the ice but now that its melting polar bears and penguins are starting to become extinct. The orangutan is also being effected by global warming because the warmer air is causing more disease because disease thrives in warm weather.
