Username and Password
Apple ID Password
General Information
This document provides information on how to access emails, OneNote on a Apple/windows
device.
This is only accessing your emails from online using safari or windows browser. Further
instructions will be developed on how to setup emails onto your IOS/ IpadOS, Windows
devices.
For Apple devices you will need to have an Apple iD and password to download the
required apps which is OneNote.
For Windows devices instructions are also being developed on how to download
Office365 onto your computer.
Please read everything on this document, failure to read a step or note can cause issues.
Throughout the document there will be blue boxes, these are covering information, disregard
these boxes.

How to open emails up on a IOS Device
1. Open Safari (Compass Icon)
2. Type MIS Webmail into the search
bar. Press Enter
3. Select Managed Internet Service

6. Select “Don’t show this again”
7. Press “Yes”
8. Your Emails will then open.

How to Setup your OneNote for first time use on a IOS Device. NOTE: You Must follow the steps to access your emails first for this to work.
1. Your Teacher will have sent you a
link to their class notebook, it will
say (Teacher) shared a file with
you. If you have not received it
send the teacher an email asking
for it to be resent.
2. Click the “Year 7 English”
Note: your OneNote may read as
something else.
3. This will open as a new tab in
safari
4. Click Open in App
Note:
You can use OneNote online however it
is best to use the OneNote app, as this
will store files offline without the need
for internet once your files have been
synced, however periodically connect to
internet to constantly sync your files.
5. Click Open
6. This will then redirect you to
your one note app and will say
opening notebook,
This may take a few minutes depending
on your internet connection and how
much data is on the OneNote.

7. Once the document has finished
opening you will then be
presented your notebook.
8. See the next step.
9. Once your document has been
opened, Click the left arrow top
left-hand corner, this will open
more sections. Your teacher will
be putting work in the Content
library or in your own individual
folders.
If you are unable to find your
work, email your teacher asking
where it is located, if you have
any further issues contact IT
Support.
On the left-hand side, once you
have opened more One notes
from other teachers, this is
where you can access them.
10. From now on access your
OneNote files from the App

How to open emails up on a Windows Device
1. Open an Internet Browser (Internet
explorer, Microsoft Edge, Google
Chrome
2. Type MIS Webmail into the search bar.
Or type in this URL

6. Select “Don’t show this again”
7. Press “Yes”
8. You will then be presented with this
page, go to the top left-hand corner and
select the 9 dots,
9. This will then present you with options
of office, for these instructions please
select outlook to open your emails.
This is where you can also access your
OneDrive, OneNote and SharePoint access.
Further instructions are being developed for
this.
10. Your emails will then be opened.

You will need to do this for each Notebook.
1. Your Teacher will have sent you a
link to their class notebook, it will
say (Teacher) shared a file with you.
If you have not received it send the
teacher an email asking for it to be

2. Click the Year 7 English
Note: Your OneNote may read as something
else.
3. This will open as a new tab in your
browser.
4. Click Open in App
Note:

Note: You must have office 2016 installed.

7. Once the document has finished
opening you will then be presented
your notebook.
